Hi everyone!
Today I was down at my mechanics having a yarn. We happened to talk about my coilpacks, and how on 2 of them I have had to pull apart a pen and put the spring out of that in to the coilpack as the replacement.
So where we got talking was in to the resistance of this coilpack spring. As the car MIGHT have a SLIGHT miss on idle we were thinking it could be the differing resitance in the springs.
The coilpacks themselfs are 100% fine, just the springs are a bit dodgy.
So what are peoples suggestions, thoughts, theories or theorums.
Im thinking 6 new springs all of a very conductive metal, with some sort of a tip on them, and see how that goes. BIGGEST problem is where to get tiny springs???
