  1. Law of the jungle hey. Survial of the fittest! Damn right! Works for puppies and kittens, why not us!
  2. Could also just need a simple small bit of adjustment. Also could be firewall flexing???
  3. Well... as you mention it... The spare car is an N13 pulsar Q. I bought mine August 2003, got it Nov 2003. It was just when they were doing that law change thingo the first time round.
  4. I do hope they had a disabled sticker thing on their car. Nice tho!
  5. Um dude. That is a good thing...
  6. What did they say?
  7. Please for the sake of you not getting ripped off. Go to a top end shop and talk to them. Even if you dont buy the gear off them, its worth it.
  8. And just when I thought advertisers had run out of ideas! That is awesome!
  9. Tad over 500hp if you use the right settings. Too many buttons to push, by the time they actually have their car set for 500hp, the cef would have lapped it twice
  10. Could you maybe get a 2 peice rotor. And then either adapt a gtr rotor to the hat, or get a custom rotor made up? Would be exxy first time probably. But replacing the rotors after might become a lot cheaper. My thoughts anyway.
  11. Ford did some sums with that back when the Pinto was out. Ford worked out it would be cheaper to pay out 'x' number of death claims from their cars being fuel tank exploding time bombs than to fix the problem. Eventually someone found all this paper work when sueing them for the burns their son got. They then had a rather massive pay out, and had to remove the car from the market. I believe this to be the same! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!! AND UP THE MIGHTY DATTO!!!
  12. Dude, that is suck a caveman style of breaking something. You need to think outside of the square a bit more. Remote explosives are the way of the future! Personally I reckon if we all sit back, work out what to say at these forum things. Have ONE person go to each (thats local anyway) one with others to form a group. Go in dressed up nice. And that one person make sure they are seen and heard. I think we will have a better chance of getting something done (or not done as the case might be with fixed cameras). By going to each one you drum it in we are somewhat serious, more people hear the same thing from the same person, AND if media is there
  13. Ok... This is what I would do. If you already have rear speakers, keep them. Run them off the head unit, its rear fill dont worry about it. Front speakers, get a resonable set of splits, your ears will thank you for it $300 or so. Get some sound deadener, and wack lots of it in the front doors. This will help your midbass. See the front are meant to be able to play mid bass too, not just mid. So this will help mearg in the sub bass better. As technically all sound should be coming from in front of you... Like a stage! See, a sub is just for that, sub bass. Bass that is non directional, say 80hz and below. And its only as bassy as you turn it up, I honestly cant see you needing that much power, I got a 300w 10inch JL and I've never really streched its legs and its easy loud enough.
  14. Drink drivers are still worse, and drug drivers should die.
  15. And the road less... Not having a go at you, but its logic. Eyes not on the road when they are on the speedo.
  16. Aren't all BMWs speed limited to 250kmh? I think the M3 would be doable, but you would have to be going like bat out of hell to chase down a new M5, they are quick.
  17. If your dad is like mine I can understand. He tells me they are a waste of money, then tells me go the whole hog and get the proper ones if I am going to do it... He has told me no numbers for letters tho. Even if you do get your value for money by doing so. Good work tho. It is getting harder to get good smart combos these days.
  18. I remember my dad telling me a while ago, that there were plans to make the M1 pretty much from Brisbane to Syndey all 4 lanes both ways. The figures showed that it would pay for its self in increased trade, less deaths, less congestion etc within approx 2 years. Yet, nothing serious has been done about it. But you do the sums, thats one hella exxy road. For it to pay for its self without a toll in about 2 years... Anyway, Aussies cant drive. Its driver training. Technically its common sence, but you do have to cater for the low IQ. Show them everything, make sure they understand it etc, then make them do it again and again. Such as merging, and round-a-bouts.
  19. I got them too! ^5! I have seen the full red ones on some cefs, and they suited them better. Guess it depends on paint colour and style of the car.
  20. He said he wanted something that will last, easy to use etc. Sometimes your better off saving for that extra few weeks. Either way give jim a call.
  21. You need not look any further than the sticky up the top of this forum.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=103268 Link provided. Worlds best clutches.
  22. I actually found my better once I went back to a stock one. (my light weight was about 3.5kgs). Thing is I also got the rb25box and 1 peice tailshaft in at the same time. So that might have had some affect.
  23. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=105996 ... It was the 2nd topic under yours...
  24. Maybe because one is a sports car and the other isnt??? Older tech vs newer?
  25. This is why I was told to stay away from light weight flywheels. And in fact some of the guys I know with big power big turbo cars have gone to heavier flywheels... Odd but true.
