Theres one in Osaka for a start.) and go for your life... theres about 100 supermarkets for you to browse.

Right... dumped cars near public spaces (parks) and alleyways etc usually have been deregistered and therefore have no plates. But as Rob said a screwdriver and the cover of darkness is all you need to score yourself a (front) set... no that I condone that sort of thing, but it's about the only way you can get plates. Btw, I have 'stolen' plates before (confession #1) and I have successfully gotten through Japanese Customs at the airport with, what, 7 or 8 plates in my suitcase... IG if they're stacked together they look like a metal box in the X-ray machine so it is possible to get through customs with them* *No responsibility is taken for someone stupid enough to do what I posted above.

Here ya go... just some teaser pics!!!! I can't pull myself away!! It's ab-so-lutely awesome!!! The sounds are 100% better than... well... anything, and the car dynamics are much improved over GT4 Prologue. I've only completed 3% of the game and good son of rajab, you could keep your self amused for about 2 years with this game!!! ... best thing to happen in 2004.

R32 4 door blister kits do exist!!!!!
Rezz replied to pitchd's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Who said 4-door blister kits didn't exist? -
Daun-sasu - Down sus (low down suspension) futto wa-ku - Footwork (suspension) suttearingu - steering (steering wheel) hoi-ru - wheel shee-to - seat o-dio - audio Theres soooo many more... actually, it'd be better to type these out in katakana, because typing it this way in romaji is misleading as to the pronunciation, but a student (or someone living in Japan) will know how to pronounce these properly.

Most are Mines ECU's are tuned for- Speed cut air cleaner exhaust intercooler and possibly larger injectors (on R32) Worth about $80 - 90 (converted to AU$) here in Japan... some go for a little more but are a harder tune, usually Garage Saurus, Zenitani and the like.

Can't wait to get my hands on the KPGC10 GT-R and the Nissan R89C Race Car... I just saw it at the Nismo Festival!

At any rate, I don't care about it now...

If you read the 1st post correctly, I made mention that he: ...so it's possible he was just nervous. Having said that though, he did pull off a few uninterupted sentences like he was a pro (which is why I'd say he had a speech impediment, not nervouness). I understood exactly what he said... I mean, I bothered to type it out didn't I? Look the fact is, he was stuttering, and 99% of the people on the train laughed out so loud it was embarrassing... it just made me angry, maybe because I expected people here to have a heart and cut the guy some slack, which they didn't... 3 or 4 times in a row until I got off the train. As for somebody with a speech impediment being in charge of announcements... I don't know??? Maybe JR were forced to hire disabled people and women?

Car looks sweet... only those 'Ozzy Tires' type chrome wheels let it down.

I have been waiting for this for sooooooo long, just in time for my 10 day holiday too!! Will post up pics asap...

V35 Skyline Coupe - in Australia?
Rezz replied to Wink's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I've heard from one of the members here that there are 3 in Queensland and a further 2 (possibly 3) now in WA... only 2 were coupes as far as I know, the others were all 250GT AT's read: not worth mentioning -
^^^I would expect only a few people to understand that post
-
Always take the tissues! You'll never know when you need to "drop some friends off at the pool" and find that there's no toilet paper at that train station squatter you're in...
-
Yet? It sounds like you consider the V35 Coupe a new car? It's up to Series 2 already! Some kits that spring to mind: Zerosun R-Spec Datasystem Impul 535CS

I believe you couldn't see the "dollar value" in doing the cams/chip/exhaust mods to a GTS2 motor, and thought that the turbo RB30E route would be a better allocation of funds?Whereas the other guy thought that the modded GTS2 was the perfect antidote for a 'sleeper', ie: non-turbo, retaining factory appearance under the bonnet, no BOVs/intercoolers etc, etc, etc. There was no power figure debate intended... ANYWAYS, what do people think of the RB25DE head swap onto the RB30 block with just the neccessary mods to complete the conversion? Worth the outlay? Or just go the whole RB25DET swap?

C'mon mate, that post is just childish.Again, I'm not taking sides with Karina, but you call her out for "egging you on" so to speak, yet your not exactly being any more mature than what she is. Give it a rest please. Also, this is the second time someone has PM'd me in regards to your posts... just letting you know.
-
Sorry mate, with all due respect... strike 1... I'm not taking sides here Ghostrider, I can see your point, but pretty please don't lower yourself to petty blonde generalizations etc.If you are indeed as old as your bio says you are that is...
-
This is the point, the guy gets out there and contributes to society... and gets laughed out of the building so to speak... unforgivable.
-
If somebody laughed at my speech impediment I'd probably punch them... it's a pity all the people on the train couldn't think about it that way. blackanator: it's not bizzaro Japan, it's not about perfect trains either... it was simply about immature reactions by everyone on the train: no matter if they're young/old/rich/poor/retarded/smart.

Train conductor making announcement over microphone has speach impediment... everyone laughs because he sounds funny.... = poor bastard = clueless people on train...

Due to an oversight by one of my family members, my site, webspace and therefore Photo Diary are down. To all the people who got some enjoyment out of the Photo Diary, I'm sorry but it may not come back, and even if I can sort out new webspace/hosting, it'll take a gargantuan effort to get things back the way they were... but I probably can sort out w00w Port City SuperAB show and '04 Nismo Festival if I get time over the New Years break. In other news, my 'Race Queen' friend is getting married and moving to Buffalo in the USA so there goes that connection, but Ikeri from SuperAB 171 (good luck at the 'Kinki Kids' concert today mate ) may know some promo girls... who knows As you may already know, Troy aka Evo_Lee is heading back to AU then Taiwan for work so I won't be seeing him for quite a while and I think we've seen the last of the 'carpark mechanics' posts, not to mention his very cool Evo 5. Good luck Troy and I hope to see you in Taiwan in the new year I'll try my best to report on some events in the Kansai region in the new year, but this time I won't make any promises... whatever happens happens. From me to all the Japan forum regulars... Happy New Year!

What!? There weren't many girls??? That almost negates the reason for going... right?

I was on the train yesterday coming home from Shinsaibashi, basically one of the 3 main entertainment/shopping areas in Osaka. So I'm just standing there on the train swaying to the side-to-side movements when the train conductor flicks on da mike to make announcements: "M-m-m-m-m mamonaku... A-a-a-a-a-amagasaki, Amagasaki desu... d-d-d-d-deguchi wa, hidarigawa desu". OBVIOUSLY the guy was nervous and/or had a speach impediment, to which the ENTIRE train car burst out laughing... I looked around and even the old grannies got a kick out of it. I just couldn't see the humour of it, I just felt for the poor guy. Then again: "Kyou m-m-m-m-mo... JR Nishi Nihon no oreo () okiyakusama... a-a-a-a-a-a-a-arigatou g-g-gozaimasu"... Again... the whole train car is rolling about on the floor laughing so hard... it was embarrassing! Who are these heartless people??? Here I am looking around at these guys and there was one older woman (possibly in her 40's) just sitting there looking at me with a painful smirk on her face. She could see me looking around in absolute disgust, so I think she was one of the only ones that was aware of what was actually happening. For the first time I felt like yelling out to the lot of them and saying (in English.. I don't give a sh!t) "You guys are ***cing sad!" Don't get me wrong, I HAVE seen this in my country, it's just that it's always kids who do the laughing and the adult guardians/parents do the head slapping and scolding. No such thing here. **waits for other Japan residents to prove otherwise** I'm over it
