  1. Brendan, I know someone asking around about a Kwaka ... I'm seeing them Friday night. I'll let you know if there is an interest.
  2. Put me down as a big MAYBE, possible YES!
  3. I'm due for long service leave this year (been 10 years, so they're going to make me take it) ... and I'm toying with the idea of taking the stagea with trailer and bike in the back, on a trip up the east coast from Phillip Island to QLD and doing track days along the way. Been something I've been wanting to throw together for years1 Now is the time to plan it.
  4. Hangover?
  5. Someone should explain to those idiots its NYE not UFC You shoulda seen what I've seen after 4 years working in clubs. That one above is nothing!
  6. Hey bud, looking for the centre console bit as I've done a manual conversion to my Stagea and want to tidy things up. Availability? Price?
  7. But drinking can make the occasion all the more enjoyable. Brought to you by the letters H, T, F and U
  8. If its got tits or an engine, its going to be trouble!

  11. Well, I sincerely hope it got them enough drugs to OD.
  12. I know what you meant Would be a nice trip: Mt Gambier, Warrnambool, GOR, Melb, Albury, Canberra, Sydney sorta way.
  13. I'm with stupid ^^^ I wouldn't go higher than 12psi on a stock turbo ... and because stags run rich from factory, that'd be the limit before you need to get it tuned. But heck, if it was my car, I'd be getting it tuned, or at least the AFRs checked at 12psi. Also, have the timing checked too. I suspect your biggest problem with the car is the stock exhaust not letting the engine breathe better ... and the FMIC adding lag to the stock turbo. Get a 3" system, HKS 2530 turbo, 12psi boost, SAFC Neo, a tune and you'll be much happier with it. I recently did a manual conversion to my Stagea. I had all the bits ready ... read everything I needed to ... and there will always be something you'll miss. I had my stag off the road for 2 weeks, taking my time, not rushing and doing it right. And I'm stoked with the results ... the stagea is awesome to drive now. Highly recommended ... cost me about $1900 to do (that included a Nismo clutch kit and lightened flywheel). I have no faith in the tiptronic auto rubbish anymore. BTW where are you located?
  14. Yeah, it'd be handy to know what other mods you've done to the Stag. A 3" free flowing zorst is a must! Got PFC or piggy back ecu? Is yours manual or auto? I would have recommended a 2530 if its your daily. Bolts straight up, but does require diff lines for coolant/oil. A high flow will be a bit laggy, but looks stock and retains all the original lines. BTW can I interest you in joining SAU-SA? We have a few stagea owners already ... me being one.
  15. Don't think he needs it anymore.
  16. Well, I'm thinking about 33 slotted rotors and Green Stuff pads and a change of fluid for starters ... see how that improves things.
  17. Hmm, GOR is a little south from Mildura dude
  18. Because it only happens when the brakes are hot from a downhill run. I've raced in the past and know what a warped rotor feels like. The rotors are fine, otherwise it would do it all the time under hard braking. Its not a 'mushy' pedal or fade either. Only ever occurs under braking (heavy or light) after a downhill decent. No violent shake of the steering wheel. No pulsing thru the brake pedal. Goes away once the brakes cool again. I can brake heavy at any other time and there is no pulsing at all, nor any pull left or right to the car.
  19. Thanks to all those people trying to low ball me, even tho I've clearly stated the rims are sold. Move along peeps.
  20. It would only be an issue for you as it will be your responsibility. I'm happy to help out where I can (ie be available for the pickup). Box still for sale. PM me with interests please ... I don't frequent the Stagea FS section much sorry.
  21. Need some quick opinions on the limits of my brakes. I'd normally just go to a workshop, but its holidays atm and I'm just doing some homework in the interim. If I take the stag down a steep hill and apply the brakes to slow down, eventually the brakes complain (getting hot) in the form of what feels like shaking from the front. A bit like a wheel out of balance, but its more noise than anything. Now the CV joints are fine ... there is no shake on cruising, acceleration or any other braking at any time, only when I'm in the hills going downhill and braking. Wheel balance is perfect ... brake discs are not warped. It only does this when going downhill and using the brakes for a prolonged time. Almost feels like the ABS getting hot and assisting, but I feel nothing in the brake pedal (no pulsing), only slightly in the steering and its more noise than 'feel'. I'm thinking of a brake upgrade anyway, but want some thoughts on the matter. I want to be able to do track days with the stag in the new year. Discuss.
  22. Its normal ... especially with turbos like HKS.
  23. No ... Adelaide. If that doesn't work, it'd be quicker for me to post my pump to you surely
  24. Glad the Stag didn't disappoint, for a volvo She's certainly a new car with the manual box in ... but as I had proven, the brakes need an upgrade now. Hurry on back so we can go cruising again! Giving the stag a wash today. Also changing the oil and plugs, then going for a little drive today
  25. If you need another pump urgently, I have my old stock pump. Works fine ... I just upgraded to a Walbro. Give me your address and you can have it.
