  1. ha steve, novice driver i hope you didnt tell aidwin that hehe as he look to hard him self like a pro(top guy) ,i'm not sure if i'm aloud to ask this on here but wot the mod ~worth to get done as i enjoy track days etc and anything to help throddle responce is a good thing.Wot you think of the 11.33 steve running wot i am, like aidwin i battle for traction all night and i have only ever been on the strip once before.(if anyone novice its me lol)
  2. Yeah sorry i am hopeless with names ,so wot are you driving now as the r32 gtr looked like a great buy and on the throddle body if he did anything else i'm not 100% sure but my only train of thinking was that went throddle shuts you pull a vacuvm on a much large volume so when it open your got it would pull the inishal shot very quickly over the very small volume of the std throddle body("maybe" only a thought i had last night when were talking). Anybody else tried this sort of mod out of interest.
  3. tomei 260 9.15mm lift poncams they bolt staight in awesome cams for street and track use puts just a nice lump edge on idol (just slight) and makes 1600 plus trackable effort from at about 4600 and holds that right throught to about 7500
  4. Ha Ken, We did the tune at georges but i did the number crunching and cam adjustment george drove and between us we got to where we are now the tomei cam are awesome we pick up over a 100 hp just tuning them believe it or not and i am hoping to out it back on dyno soon to do further tuning but this time not for top end but for refining the rest of the map to best posible throddle responce and feel ,not that there anything wrong with it at the moment . Ken how the gtr you got from over east going done much with it . question for you ken i was talking with anthony i think a nice little asia guy with a r32 gtr works for sst (not 680hp anthony) he has done a single throddle body convestion on the gtr and says it improve throddle responce for him ,wot you think of the idea Pete
  5. clutch is a multiplate unknown brand tyres are zr275/35/18 nittos not the r styles they use in japan suspension std shocks and slighty lower heavy springs at best guess ps i got a feeling one of the rear shocks could be a bit dicky (will be checking condition soon)
  6. Ha guys, Just got back from drag wars at the motorplex ,i took my gtr up for a run to see how it would good. Its running 320hp ball bearing garett turbos, tomei cams and cam wheels,rb 20 air flow ,700cc sard injectors and apexi power fc which has put out about 518hp at the wheels at 18psi but as been tapered back a little to about 500hp. The rest is all std. So my second trip to a drag strip every in any car i managed a elaped time 11.332sec terminal speed 125.17mph 201.44kph 60" 1.757 330" 4.873 660" 7.391 1000" 9.524 I felt pretty happy with this as i was having a hard time great a nice lauch two much wheel spinning and a bit of shuddering but managed consistent 1.7 60" times,is this a reasonable time for wot im running as im very new the drag strip screen as the car was aim more for track day work p.s any advice on getting good launches
  7. i fitted rb20 afm to my gtr r33 and the pfc has a selection for rb25 afm which worked a treat for me a i believe there is next to no difference and i am running over 500 hp at the wheels so unless you want to go over about 550hp at the wheels the rb20/25 will be fine and i have heard of guys doing small mods to air bow to make them fit both rb20/25 and z32
  8. ha I GOT A GTR RUN 260 DEG PONCAM STD INTERNVALS WITH BALL BEARING GARRETS RUN 518HP AT THE WHEELS ON 18 PSI AND WE PICK UP OVER 100 HP WITH THE CAMS AND ADJUSTABLE CAM WHEELS SO I THINK THE PONCAMS WORK JUST FINE
  9. sydneykid your on it ,to for application up to 450rwkw the rb20/25 are a better afm because of the better sensitive ie air flow to voltage change . Only once you need more hp does the z32 come into its own and really how many car are in this league ?
  10. the rb20 afms fit straight also and are half the price and flow plenty mine is 518hp at the wheels with room to move
  11. dude did you measure each disc or add the two together cos the measurement seem way off ,cos i need the thinkness of each disc otherwise ihave no idea how much life is left in them (as i haven't seen a 48mm think brake disc before)
  12. pics of exhaust system and prices of the exhaust and injectors [email protected]
  13. ha did you manage to measure the thinkness of the front/ rear rotors to see how much wear is left in them
  14. i believe the n1 is bush bearing turbo very robust but the garretts does a ball bearing turbo of similar size which i run 320hp a piece with much less lag then n1 and we manage 518hp at the wheels with them at 18psi and mild mods std internals bar tomei cams
  15. Ha guys looking at buying a greedy air fuel ratio meter from nengun or greenline and was woundering about how good they are ,are these meters the slow narrow sensor or the wide fast unit you really need for any real usuable indication.
  16. ha just a suggestion would it be posible to run a gtr ecu on this car as he has the same crank angle sensor ,and will have soon two afms and gtr injectors .he could most like pick up r32 pretty cheap and they are reprogrammable yeah
  17. ha interested in the brakes can i get a measurement of frt and rear rotors thickness to see life span lift in them [email protected]
  18. ha i'm chasing the one good std turbo give you $200 [email protected]
  19. ha interested in the std turbos and wot you want for the long motor [email protected]
  20. ha can i get photos of exhaust and cooler [email protected] and wot size is the cooler
  21. ha the figures you are talking about are a walk in the park with a strong health rb26 ,but i would suggest not to waste time and money on remapping or chipping (or even mines)as for around $1200 dollars you can have one of the best computers on the market APEXI Power fc and hand controller from nengun/greenline, trust me by the time you play with the others and dyno costs you could of pay for one. Best bet is to find a tuner with data logger to do the orginal tune as it saves about 4 hours and on a dyno thats $$$ and if you deside to go further a few small investments in key areas and you can really bring the rb to life mine has garrett bearing turbos 320hp (similar to n1 size) rb20 afm($300 for both) 700cc sard injector($691) tomei cams and cam gears($1050) apexi pfc($1230) and avcr($600) and i hand made exhaust and inlet rest std and made 518hp(18psi) at about 11psi it still made well over 400hp i was pretty happy with the return on money spent
  22. i got the tomei cam gears and cams for my gtr r33 and was extremely happy with them they look f....ng awesome and gained a shit load tuning them in (total tune gain 152hp with small changes also to inj and int mapping and a about 1 psi boost)(518hp at the wheels)
  23. wot condition is the tein gtr suspension in, can you send me pics [email protected]
