  4. well thats a load of shit "Gramhan Bell who wrote Forced Induction" has alot to say about the reasons the bov were invented and used and it wasnt not for damage to turbos ,its primary role is to reduce back pressure on outlet of turbo to keep the turbo spooled up as long as possible so there is reduce turbo lag when you get back on the throddle. Just stop and think to your self if you reduce exhaust gas flow (throddle shut ) and get a hugh back pressure pike its going to try and stop turbo dead so when you get back on the throddle you have to spool up the turbo again (laggy as shit) . Where the turbo can handle this is irrelevant

  11. putting grains of sand in the fuel tank i've heard everything that must go with the skyhook and the long weight or maybe the fly screen doors on subs.
  12. cool sound like a good idea ,i been looking for a desent oil cool kit for awhile can i ask where you got it and wot make it is, wot sign are you using to tell you the motor is tired may i ask (low oil pressure, or compression etc) do you hope to rebuild soon. pete ha are you going to this xmas do on thursday cos it would be cool to catch up with a few of you guys for a beer and a chat .two more days and i'm back on dry land woohoo :headspin:

You can actualy get all these mods done in Bunbury if it is easier, quiet a bit closer to your current location, bart from south west brakes does good deals on the clutches same day install, and the rest can be handle by a number of different companies Adrenalin Performance are a group of guys no nonsence but there are plenty of great shop in perth to. Best of luck with the mods
  14. rev210, wot your plans for the future for the gtr? do you plan to go further with the development etc and if so wot did you have in mind. Cos there alot of potental there your yet to tap into but with a tired motor i can understand not pushing it to far. the beauty of the rb26 is that it does cost alot to really get some awesome rewards.   15. so the N1 pump and the nismo high volume pump sold by nengun for about 1k are not the same aahhhh that makes sinces.So at wot level rwhp do you need to go to high volume pump ie tomei, jun, etc etc as i am running about 390rwkw and are about to upgrade internals and pump etc pete

  17. by the time you do a build up like that you mos well have bought a good rb26dett ,seen complete motor,turbos and loom etc 96 vspec $6500 9100kms old how could you go wrong.
  18. Ha Amaru, Glad to hear someone else benefit from cam tuning as i'm got great results for advancing exhaust and inlet (10deg adv inlet ,8deg adv exh) exhaust is very similar to yours can i ask did you try the inlet adv? pete(someone might actual believe me know NOT)
