  1. Put an AKA 6465 on so we can see what they compare like
  2. Well it's not clear when he doesn't say 'I only want a Garrett'
  3. 6466 with a 1.0 rear housing will make a 600kw on 28psi, you'll have 300kw by 4000rpm 6870 is laggier, but I've seen them go over 700kw.
  4. The fitness industry in general is rife with what you have just explained. As far as Markos' examples, I can't confirm because they aren't tested, but I doubt Nina and young Max were using, and they were and still are very strong. Stronger than most ever will be. I feel you're wrong on the results. Just recently I watched an untested, but natural for arguments sake, 110kg lifter total 760 in comp prep, 300/160/300, with wraps. He will be doing his first ever GPC event in October. He doesn't care for peds, because he works hard and is strong regardless.
  5. Just because it would probably be red lit, does not mean it's not within the rules. IPF deny lifts that are well within the rules. That's a GPC lifter. I'm sure no IPF lifter is going to openly discuss any usage. Just as a murderer wouldn't openly discuss their victims. Some very strong lifters wish to compete outside of IPF, but cannot. That is a ridiculous rule. They aren't going to get heaps of gains if someone sneezes on them. Comps like Proraw want the best of the best of all lifters. IPF prevent that.
  6. This is all that needed to be said before you called them fake feds. Markos only promoted the lifters he was directly involved with, he made that clear every time someone wanted to compare. Everyone but the IPF bandwagon appreciate whether a Squat is Raw, Raw + sleeves or with wraps. None deny the fact they get assistance out of either, Unless they don't. Posterior placement is open in all feds, just flat feet are required in IPF. I think you're tarring Australian branches with the same brush as international feds that have questionable judging. I haven't seen many or any cases of high squats in GPC, just remember, the rule is the same. As for drug use and promotion, I have never seen any Fed promote it. How long have you been competing for Boz?
  7. Wow. I was really hoping that wasn't your reply. You pretty much just highlighted the problem people have with IPF. I don't see how an untested fed is fake just because people are stronger than you. I guess you think SBD sleeves don't give you anything over bare knees too.
  8. Fake Fed PL?
  9. Nothing money won't overcome.
  10. Won't be long now and a no compromise 34 GTR will be getting about with a VR38, now Motive have teamed up with GUP's money.
  11. You would of still got the 2.8 balanced though?
  12. It is race car and has had a lot of R&D. I have a graph, but it's not my place to post without permission. It's Brad Sherriff's, Piggaz knows the car I believe
  13. But its also an air shifted flappy paddle Hollinger, that makes over 600kw on 28psi, runs 35psi on the track and is single turbo.
  14. If you're making more torque or power at a lower rpm, you will be moving quicker. So it won't feel sluggish.
  15. The bottom end really isn't going to influence a great deal, with the TT options, on 98, if you're only wanting to retain the rb26 block, assuming you aren't considering spacer plate engines. I feel that GT-SS twins and upwards in size aren't ever going to hold you back from the power goals you aren't worried about. Quite the contrary, You won't be able to get the most out of the turbos without a substantial build and head work. You will find GT-RS aren't going to be an efficient choice, ever. 2.9, GT-SS/2860-9 or -5 on 98, enjoy. p.s. my rb26 was as free revving as it gets, even had a 4500rpm power band....but the 5500rpm that had nothing made it useful for one thing only.
  16. The only argument for stock displacement is cost or if you have to adhere to guidelines. The reason turbo's have been mentioned by everyone is because no one wants to see you make the mistake of buying the GTRS sized turbos and the fact you said they are better matched on a 2.8. Which may be the case, but they are still not the best choice for the power and response, or lack there of. The next size down HKS2530 or Garrett 2860-5 will be a far better choice. If you're not chasing numbers, leave it stock and put 2860-7's on. Can't out stroke a poor setup.
  17. I've had stock RB26, 700kw? 10 000rpm RB26, and now RB30 with 5-600kw and it is by far the quickest and most ridiculous and I can't find the need to rev it above 6k very often on the road. I don't think I'd ever go 2.6 again, Unless it was because I just wanted a budget build between 3-400kw. Which is all that is required with GT-SS turbos. As mentioned many times over, GT-RS turbo's aren't worth using. Buy the most capacity you can afford to suit you goals. Firstly decide what they are, because the two suggestions you chose are chalk and cheese
  18. Definitely should get mods to move to build section. You can keep us up to date with the OS88 install in there!
  19. Even with your current rev limit you'll be moving so quick.
  20. Do you think the rear housing is such an issue when Mitch's 3.4 pushes over 600kw with it?
  21. Not the Turbo you told us that was on there. Mikes opinion was based on that.
  22. You can get cams up to 272 that allow the use of VCT still. But I'd still change them back to small ones. Going to be a mad 4wd.
  23. Noise from my gtr with in tank 044 is worse than my gtr with intank walbro and holley dominator
  24. Have been considering it, babying the gearset atm
