  1. fark my rb25 turbo is on full boost by then and the exhaust wheel is heaps bigger did you check you turbo when you pulled it off the exhaust wheel should be quite a bit smaller than the vg 30 turbo. where as the rb 25 one would only be slightly smaller 1mm cheers
  2. I would be jumping up and down why didn't you get a jap one you could of had and brand new jap one for that money. and peopel say use the local product when it comes to exhaust the japs make the best and gues what they fit in 10 mins and never rattle or groan meggala
  3. on an r33 a 3037 is very good look at around 240-250 rwkw @ 1bar or so. but you need a gate and manifold. it all depends on what you level of commitment is if you want to do injectors afm and ecu .a 2530 or a 40 is great and should make 230 rwkw with stock injectors and aftermarket ecu and bolts straight up cause its internal gate or get you stock one hiflowed but to me thats a bit of a compromise but covers alot of legal issues. t04 e or s is another option but a bit laggy for the s one but they make heaps of power my advise is set a power goal then get a turbo to suit it. if its over 250 rwkw dont expect a lag free turbo meggala
  4. yeah I love what women are like with cars I turned the boost up ages ago and forgot to tell the missus she comes home the next and goes what did you do to the car its a rocket. then I turned it down and she sulked for a few days. meggala
  5. yeah I think low lux is in good hands with jpc. I like you steve have been in a dillema and in the end whimped out and got an r33 turbo cause I couldn't be stuffed with the running around and the number of idiots out there. my cefiro could be a very different story though cause the missus wont be driving it

  11. they talk 400- 450 hp rating for them hiflowed but that would be running some serious boost 1.5 bar or so. cheers
  12. joel I spoke to some one who had his rb 20 turbo hiflowed and had very good results. his previous turbo was a vg30 hiflow and he said that the rb 20 hiflow spooled much earlier aand was more driveable .r31 heaven to be honest I wouldn't even waste my time considering the idea f the twins on an rb 20 on an rb 30 fine any day of the weel but not a 20 there arent enough gains top be had m
  13. exstaic ran a 13.8 with exhaust and s-afc running street tyres 10 12 psi I think mid 13's are possible may be a 13.4 babs is on the mark you dont need a bigger cooler unless you are fitting a bigger turbo in reality merli made reasoanble power witha stock cooler. meggala
  14. sh1t I am cheque book racer as well why cause its better to go to people who kow what they are doing or who have done the stuff b4. but funnily enough they always ask me how do you do this or that yeah I minght not work on my car my self but like mario I under stand my car and why and how I'm going to achive my goals. its just that marios goals are different to mine cheers
  15. andf you really want one 100mm thick the stock one is good for 450-500 hp isn't that enough

  18. nah live near east keilor this is mine you might have seen it fmic exhaust s-afc blah blah blah yeah re ice they dont have their own dyno so go every few weeks with a few cars for tuning. catch as soon meggala
  19. hey boost junky what colour is your car I;'m just down the road. re the new s-afc looks like it has 12 tuning points and 200 rpm increments yeah you say a standalone is the best option but one thing I like about the s-afc is you can take it from car to car meggala

  25. hey dave your definatly were in for a reaming by the cops. btw I saw am xy gt falcon with a full house motor and they guy was one p's I wouldnt stress but to be safe you could register the car in you parents name but i would have the insurance in your name. meggala
