  1. if you are running a stock turbo there is no need to upgrade injectors. what sort of turbo are you going to get. the side feed 550 injectors are 200-250 each. meggala

  3. and you should have seen his a/f ratios on from the uni chip they were all over the place. rather than being an almost straight line. meggala
  4. you just shove the gague in the exhaust pipe but most of the accuarte ones are on the dyno and the reading should have been taken when the car was tuned. meggala
  5. also the figures different dynos give can be different. your guys dyno could be reading high thats why alot of the guys who came to the vic sdu dyno day said thier cars were making 180-190 rwkw on this dyno then they come to our dyno day and only make 140-150. if the sydney guys have a dyno day then you can compare. also the air /fuel ratios are important. ask yourmechanic if he has a reading. meggala

I'm doing work on ecu's atm on r32's using an s-afc as well I need some dyno time to see how it goes the best bang for your buck mod you could do is to bolt the turbo from a vg 30 or an rb25 and you will make 170 rwkw hp at least at around 10-12 psi but I'd get a bigger fuel pump as well and a bigger fmic you don't need to spend 2k on an fmic if you only going to chase 170-180 rwkw you just need something bigger than what you have. a s/hand one will do. meggala

  14. 2 guys at the vic dyno day had big improvments with the simple s-afc around 25-30 rwkw on completly stock (apart for exhaust) cars. merli made 170 rwkw using power fc stock every thing else cept exhaust .these guys made 152 rwkw not bad if you ask me. meggala
  15. ex-static it might be better if you change the order of your mods. the best way is generally boost controler. fmic,ecu for tuning s-afc or power fc. then fuel pump then turbo then dump pipe. I'm running 8-10 psi on mine at the moment and I miss the power I had b4 so I'm looking at options.in the bigger turbo dept atm meggala
  16. well you should be able to get a power fc with controller for around 2k or so . try http://autospeed.com.au or even http://takahira.com I hear they are even cheaper from there meggala
  17. bilstein a good I have them and have had them 4 or 5 times on various cars they aren't rock hard but hold the road well. the main distributer is quadrant suspension in berwick. I know but well worth the trip but ring up first and ask. may be think about springs as well. meggala
  18. the link is an nz computer it doesn't have as many plotting points as powerfc. but powerfc has one draw back it still uses afm's but unless you plan to go over 300rwkw the powerfc should be fine and you can always un plug it but chances are it wont even be seen any way. shop around for prices as there are plenty of bargains out there. meggala
