the t3/4 hiflow uses the t4 front housing and a t3 rear. t3 hiflow uses enlagrewd t3 stuff looks like mine will be a t3 hiflow meggala

you can ruyn a t88 on an rb25 but probably only 5 psi of boost and the lagg would be major. seriously a gt25 or 30 series or a t3/4 hybrid they are the main ones. over 200 rwkw you should be thinking about injectors. and you tunning should be spot on with no detonation as thats what kills engines. I buy s/hand turbos but unless you know what you want I'd be careful meggala

Mick I'm not one for plugging people but I suggest you call the guys from ice performance. they can tune the power fc and autronic ecu and have a good track record on skyline . the power fc has quite a few more load points than the link and the autronic can run even more. ask any of the guys at the dyno day and you will hear what they were like. the power fc is a plug in replacement and looks exactly like the factory ecu. they use solid lifters. hence you can rev the car higher thats why the rb26's can rev to 9000 rpm and higher. the rb25 has hydrolic lifters I think meggala

cause the engine haven't passed emissions. Their 180's silvia's have a ka2.4 single cam n/a engine. meggala

the vg30's don't hold heaps of boost 14 psi max I have had 16 psi but over 6000 rpm it went back to 12 psi. those hiflows are for non ballbearing versions of the turbo around 800 or close to your price if its ballbearing. meggala

well for hiflowing the vg 30 I have been quoted around 800-1k not 1800 and you can sell you rb25 turbo for around $500 and 450 to buy the vg30 then you will have something that will make 200rwkw which should make you happy. meggala

yeah the vg30 is a bolt on for the rb25 but is not much bigger thant he stock one so unless you hi flow it, it's not really worth using. meggala

I would put a bigger fuel pump into one runing a vg 30 turbo and the stock ic really isn't good over 150 rwkw. meggala they go for around $350-$450

Jim I thought your car was a sh1t hot stinker when you got it. I could be wrong , a good up grade is ethier a t3/4, t4, gt25 series, hks 2835 hks 3040,td06,td07n apex ax 6 (I think its called) and a t88 and yes they do fit. and about a dozen moreIt all depends on what you want. meggala
