joel the vg30 turbo has a similar problem to the rb20 one the boost dropps off at high revs. but the vg30 pull straight through to 8 k rpm no problem . now i'm driving my car with the stock turbo it is feeling choked and slow. meggala

Its a tough call I know I still considering it I have the injectors waiting and a z32 afm as well. But I'm un sure I really want more than 200 rwkw from an rb20. I really liked mny vg30 turbo ands I have a sneaky thought that you will like the 2510. but one thing to consider are you going to do the rb 25/30 or is it a hope rather than a dream If you are going the rb25/30 later buy the turbo once and get a t3/4 if not the 2510 will be good. as I said Its a tough decision I'm looking like going for an rb25 turbo with steel wheels If I can or just with ceramic wheel dial in 13.5 psi with the actuator and be done with it. and may be in a year or so get a a wild set up but don't hold your breath for that. meggala

2530 joel the 2510 is good but as you said its a vg30 turbo that I reckon spools up really early. you not thinking about the hiflow rebuild of the stock turbo? cause although they are expensive they seen to get the results! you will need an hks version of the 2530 as the garret version only comes with a t25 flange I believe. I did some invesigating a while ago in to turbos. the hiflow of the stock unit didnt sound to bad. I just got a shock on the price though. cheer meggala

also the microtech doesn't have closed loop cycle which is much better. meggala. btw I'm not bagging the microtech just pointing out stuff if your considering the change

there is much more to it I have a mate who had to remove his autronic from his honda and fit a stock ecu even though the car was running better and cleaner with it. some thing to think about people thats why the powerfc is so good. meggala

sounds like a very big turbo to me. don't drive your car with the actuator disconnected. I know it sounds silly but ahve you checked all your lines for leaks etc? meggala

what size wheels did you get macka. hks make strong actuators. thats what you looking for but ring the shop that built the turbo to check with them they might have a simple fix. meggala
