  1. the 25 swap is fine let your old man drive the thing for a while. then you can do the mods you can use an rb26 if you want. you just need to plan it a bit more with the rb25 thats all remember forced was a rb 25 so its very do able . the box might need a gear set. get the rb25 running then start to plan. you can do alot of the upgrades and still make 260-280 on the stock bottom end. then you need todecided if you want to go that step further. cause thats the big one cheers meggala
  2. Nismo I love your dads attitude :-) a rebuild is required.so you might be better to find another block to start work with. just a block fit full rb26 crank and rods and forged pistons. you will need a large turbo like a t78 or so cams plenium and head work your motor and turbo will need to handle around 1.6 1.8 bar of boost. you will need to sit down with some one and plan for it. it is very do able . forget the rb30 combo they dont fit in silvias properly. the easier way is to fit a big single turbo rb26. budget for 15 -20 k pm me if you want more info cheers meggala
  3. the os giken gear set is around 5 k then you move up to trust and hks stuff 10 k+ . it would be easier if you learnt how to shift properly I know guys putting out 280 rwkw on stock rb25 boxes with out issues meggala
  4. the single apexi's look good the n1 or the gt note how both have less bends than the trust ones. and the dual ones are farken loud you would be a weekly visitor to the epa meggala my n1 has no silencer and I have no hassles with the cops
  5. to do it the other way you need to change the half shaft Ithink. meggala
  6. I swapped them over. we did the front brake hubs and did the whole rear diff it fitted straight in meggala
  7. great thanks but more importatly does it make the car feel better meggala
  8. the car did come with an rb26 as an option. so it should be allowed meggala
  9. Joel; dont change to a pod to many cop hassles with them meggala
  10. some of my ones
  11. you exhaust is the biggest problem once you fit a bigger exhaust it should be better. bleed valves aren't the best way to increase boost they are unreliable, becuase of boost spikes autos should be tuned in 2nd gear on a dyno. and the a/f ratio change cause you arent running stock boost.drop it to 9 psi this should help. meggala
  12. do you know if the 070 is bigger or smaller than the o33 cheers
  13. is that the 070 bosch one? meggala
  14. I'm getting one for sure meggala
  15. the peformance is a tiny bit less but the drivability is 100% I'm glad I chose this turbo over the vg30 cause its spools much earlier meggala
  16. I had the same yesterday when I fitted my new turbo with my old bleed on the vg30 you used to crank it up I opend it a bit a 17 psi woho on the rb25 turbo on my r32 now its set at a comfortable 10 psi which is still very nice meggala
  17. in perfect condition never boosted. minus adapter to cooler pipe and the line that goes to the waste gate actuator. suit some one looking for a replacement. quick sale 200 + cod as is. meggala its a t25 on a t3 flange mail to [email protected]
  18. 400hp wait till you see the added costs of the e-mange .ie for the loom software etc I believe it will be closer to $1000 au than $600 au meggala
  19. me to joel but not for $500. meggala
  20. joel I think you would like the r33 turbo on an r32 it is really nice makes boost from 2800 so its not that laggy. the non ball bearing vg30 turbo made full boost @ 4000 rpm I know joel I had one. it spooled from 3000 ask cam as well. he has made over 200 rwkw yeah I know optomistic dyno I still feel 190 is very doable they jsut dont like them cause they are a cheap altanative. I'm happy with my choice joel but Ihave changed my power goals if you want 200 rwkw then you have to look at bit bigger the ballbearing center really helps meggala
  21. well I have had the pleasure of trying both turbo's. from my short analysis. I have an r33 turbo on my car now . the vg 30 is better for all out power but the r33 one is better cause is spools faster. the r33 turbo isn't a savage as the vg 30 turbo in its application of power remember these are raw thoughts. but thought I would pass them on meggala
  22. doc I just finished fitting the r33 turbo to my car my only comment is nice. now for a tune and I'm finished meggala
  23. If you want shorter gears there is a good alternative and thats the auto r33 it has 4.3's as opposed to 4.1 a dump pipe will help as well. meggala
  24. considering they are only a little bigger than a stock gtst one and litttle I think 1 liter may be less. meggala
