  10. I nwever said they make the best cars I like mercs my 450 sel drove home with no pump exhaust manifold and was only half full with transmission fluid. they are so over engineered. the only time we needed a tow truck was when the missus ran out of petrol. and the racv guy thught itwas some thing else. as for spare parts. every thing was at least 1k a single exhaust manifold cast for a v8 was 3 k from merc. and 1500 from a wrecker I got one custom made for 700. you need to be able to maintain them. but what a Pimpin mobile it was. m
  11. I would get it check cause it can happen but is unlikely there might be a reason we have to catch up cheers

  14. Ive own both a BMW and A merc give me a merc any day of the week M3's are nice toys and exactly that they are for people who need the tax benifits. they go well. but the finish and reliabiliy of the merc is King. but guess what I'd rather a skyline as my car the missus can have the merc and she might in a couple of years the looks are so unique. also the young guys in question realise that a skyline is with in their reach where as a M3 is harder to attain. 15. have you considered removing the lights and taking them in side and asking your sister if she can get them out for you:-) seriously removing them should help meggala
  16. good read Grim very interesting :-) thanks for sharing meggala
  17. Mine is 600 with with the end tanks get them to only cut off one end.you will probably have to pay for a new end tank. you do know you can wind the bosst up to 12 with the stock coooler as the r34 stock one is the same size. I am noticing alot more cars in jp with stock coolers if they have only upped the boost. cheers meggala
  18. ethan I told onarun this and most of you should understand as far as mods go they have little bearing on sale price look a pawel his car had bucket loads of money and he brought his pice down. what you paid for you car is irrellevant how much you spent on mods is irellevant. its a series one and yes its nice but your price is unrealiasitc. also your location doesn't help. If your keen you should say you will go to melbourne or adeaide if there is enough interest. you are learning all about cars now ethan. If I was to sell my car the realistic achieveable price for is is 13-14 k and I have spent heaps more I realise this. and I'm prepared to wear it. I have no intention of selling . selling off your mods is a good thing or do your car up and live with it . merli decided to keep his car cause he realised he could have a car just as fast a gtr for alot less. meggala
  19. how big is to big? I would call a couple of cooler places I thing you can get them cut but ask the experts. meggala
  20. if you can strech your budget the r34 is definatly the way to go for resale as well meggala the prices are around the ball park
  21. I am using an 070 but for you adam with your t04 would go for any of the ones Evan mentioned. meggala
  22. they forgot the big picture and alienated alot of their users. Hence I dont go in the very often either. meggala
  23. It sounds to me like a great car as I said to buster to build a car up like that would cost a fortune the turbo's alone are worth a packet. I personlly would prefer an r33 with a rb26 than a gtr why? because it would hammer. I have been in a couple of very hard core r33's and r32's and they are wicked. a gtr is nice but hey lots of peple own gtr's. and the motors pretty well bolt in. yummy meggala
  24. it is an rb20e converted to rb2.3det he has spent 1 800 000 on the car which is gtr territory. I call him a tosser meggala
