  4. find out how much boost for 450 hp and try and get a guaratee of that amount of hp. meggala sound about right though

  7. 8-10 psi should be fine get it checked on the dyno and your tuner if good will know where to set it. a powerfc would come in handy. and yes its heaps better than a high flow btw if you dont do it sell it to me first meggala

  9. yeah you will need a new exhaust system not a stock one the rb20 and 25 manifolds are the same. in most cases. injectors, bigger fuel pump ,managment, afm etc etc. it depends on what you want do you want a 12 second car if so then this is the turbo for you.as for boost it will be between 3500 -4000 but very liveable so you can drive in traffic off boost and when you nail it it will fly. don't stress about when boost comes on cause when you hit boost with this turbo 1 second later you will be looking for the next gear btw you can run this turbo with stock injectors but just lower boost the stock injecotrs are good for 210-220 rwkw that might be enough for you. just some ideas. in my book this is one of the best suited turbo's for an rb25 and should keep you happy. but you need to ask yourself it that kind of power is what you want! meggala

  12. 300 rwkw is very doable for an rb25 but 370rwkw from an rb20 is awsome and he is aiming for more is a real achivement and btw its in an hr31 coupe. meggala
  13. thats at the wheels so 500 + from the fly wheel this is some one i know in japan an american over there. he is running tome 2.2 pistons 264 cams ihi rx6 turbo,1.6bar boost and some otherthings. this car is capable of low 11's high 10's now he is looking for more going for the 2.4 kit. hmmmm interesting. meggala so It can be done

  16. it shows how good the tuners are who did your car. the pfcon is the best unit for tuning but I'm unsure who can tune it in thewest they are a fuel only and can be a fuel and timing computer.find out what model number it is and pull the injectors out of your old motor if you still have it as it might have gtr injectors. hmmmmmm very interesting. meggala
  17. grewat result inasnt that show's that you dont need a cooler to make reasonable power if your keeping the boost down. and you have alomost sold me on the dump pipe idea as well 155 @ 10 psi is a great figure next year put the cooelr in and may be 170-180 rwkw is possible. great stuff meggala
  18. melbourne is a great city its central housing is still reasonable and to get around is very easy as we have good roads. night life is great plenty of parks. it was voted the most livable city in the world cause of low crime great jobs etc. housing is dearer than perth but not stupid like sydney. assk dr drift he has lived in both places cheers steve
  19. I had a faulty crankangle sensor and it did some strange things my thoughs are afm or coil packs myself. cheers meggala

  21. the vg30 det turbo is a little bit bigger but is only good as a replacement if your rb25 turbo has died. they do go well when hiflowed they do fit on an rb25 with a few adjustments but nothng major. meggala
  22. nah thats why I have a wife she has the spare set so I loose them and give her a call or vice a versa. its easy meggala
  23. yeah if you post your problem we could give you an idea. but first thing to check is your plug gap if your runnig over 8 psi this should be sewt to .8 mm not the default 1.1 mm. if the idle is bad and inconsistent ie going from 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm then your afm could be the culprit. also the coil packs and the the ignition apmlifier if the car is running rough. the crank angel sensor could be the problem if yua re loosing power over a certain boost. factory timing should be @ 15o . nex t I would be looking for a mechanic how knows skylines cause this guy obviously doesn't . last one is to check the cooler piping is ok. meggala
  24. Azian the waste gate isn't open so the will be no air getting out. I never went for a new dump pipe on my car any way. cheers btw good to see you here
