  1. I don't think a badge will make him look like a 'hektik idiot'.
  2. Get a good lens - you will then see how good your camera really is. If you upgrade to a 60d... the upgrades are very minimal. Have a look at: http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-600d-vs-Canon_EOS_60D If you want better image quality etc... 5d or 1d otherwise I wouldn't bother
  3. A 7d has more 'nick-nak' features, otherwise the only main things it would be an upgrade from is higher fps, the very slightest low light upgrade. Same image sensor. The 600d is a great camera... Upgrading to anything other than a 5d or a 1d isn't really an upgrade.
  4. That looks awesome Josh
  5. To upgrade from the 600d you really are looking at a 5d or a 1d
  6. Nice work!
  7. Took quite a few photos of some 34's at the last SCC. This is probably my favourite photo
  8. Thats a massive improvement compared to your last try Sidd. Except on your last try you wanted the real skin look where this is the magazine model skin. What made you change your target?
  9. Haha that first shot of the 6 34's in the front driveway is just tops. I can imagine someone walking past that house thinking 'wtf'
  10. cool mate... you will rarely get 'bad' feedback from anyone here... everyone seems to appreciate many different styles
  11. How long would this go for? 1pm-2pm? Longer? I would like to attend and let you use my car (34) as an example - as long as 0 harm is done with the screwdrivers... Will need to confirm with the misses that the date you have set, that we have nothing planned. I have a mongoose alarm installed by autobarn for $600... would like to see how it goes
  12. Silver "DBR33" on parked Blunder road at lunch time
  13. I think I'll also add this to the schedule man... Great tip
  14. Ah wow, nice work Jay... that is awesome mate. Congrats again.
  15. Ah man, thanks for that reply. That is pretty tops. I'll bring some witches hats out to so he gets used to how far away the left side and the front of the car is. Thanks man, def a good read.
  16. Took a few snaps of a few of the 32's I really liked this year:
  17. Just thought I'd have a read of the thread. I can't come to the xmas party or this due to another bbq... *wishes I could attend to xmas party*... but the xmas party is that afternoon, the 10th. So just thought I'd let you know in case you had forgotten that one.
  18. I'll be taking him southside areas (algester/forest lake). Haha, no doubt he is difficult to teach. He has his own manual camry on his L's... so of course wants to learn in that. I've taken him for about 5 hours in total now, and I am able to sit in the car. I've basically been taking him to massively long roads and just start and stop start and stop to learn how to get off first gear. He's getting there slowly but surely.... but I'm sure you guys would have to have some awesome tips that you made up yourself!
  19. Afternoon guys So my mate has asked me to teach/supervise him for his L's. I'll be taking him for drives super early on Saturday mornings before the traffic hits in. We have had a few laughs so far, and I think I'm just about on the verge of whip lash - he's just jumped in a car for the first time in his life and hes trying manual straight up. Some find it easy of course, but he is finding it a bit difficult. He's done plenty of skids on his new rubber haha.. he gets too nervous with the clutch even when no one is behind him lol. So anyways, if anyone has any really good pointers and tips, would highly appreciate it. I'm just taking him for the normal drives around the local areas, getting him to do a crap load of start and stops and the usual stuff. I'm sure some of you have found a few awesome out of the box tips and tricks for the new manual drivers. Stories - I'm sure some of you have some funny ones to share!
  20. Hopefully nightfall and his old man will have most of these dead beats sorted out soon.
  21. Good thing you did that for him. Don't care if they have a $10,000 alarm.. I rather not have to spend an extra $500 fixing crap and having my car off road and my time wasted. Glad you called him man, it was the good bloke thing to do
  22. Hope you get my sad PM Noel
  23. love this one man
