  4. the factory bov is open at idle so un airflow metered air is coming in so ecu puts in not enough fuel or too much fuel . adjust the spring pressure on the hks one so it is closed . idle is also becaus of the same thing

  6. nah it wont . you gotta pull the cover off and undo the three screws . clip that clip back over the tapered screw on the mirror screw the 3 screws back in then clip cover back on . get a medium flat head/knife and pull the cover off . youll see
  7. we got a neo turbo on a 20det . been thrashing it for ages on 14 psi . have had it glowing red after a boost round the hills . it seems to love it . it doesnt glow anywhere near as good as the 20 turbo used to . yeah not much piont in runnin any more on a stock ecu . but yeah your already pushin more yeah . good shit man . need more threads with "do ers " and not the hot air brigade

  11. run your hand accross the radiator core when the car is hot . it should all be too hot to touch . any cool spots and it is blocked

  13. you have to burn fuel to make power . a fuel pump lives in the fuel tank and pumps fuel to the fuel rail under pressure . an 040 is an internal pump . it looks the same as an 044 but it has a filter on one end so it can suck up fule and push it to motor an 044 is an external pump . it has a hose tail on both ends and is designed to be fed fuel from a surge tank

  16. have you positively identified it as the alt belt squeal? a lot of it is starter motor pinion squeal
  17. bolt 1 does not lock bolt 2 . undo bolt one wind bolt 2 in untill belt is right tension do up belt 1.
  18. they dont sound like that in real life . half of that sound is the air rushing past the mic . they are a shit bov aswell . dont have any sort of seal . just a brass piston on a poos alloy housing . i have one as a paper weight

  21. yeah my mates with a 180sx and a 13 with s14 sr20det have both done the "push the radiator back and put cooler upsidedown" it works bloody awesome . the pipe from the turbo to the cooler is like a foot long an elbow on either end . the other pipe is way short . one elbow off intercooler and part of the existing frontmount piping . since doing it there is like 5 foot of ic pipe lyin on the floor . and it worked usin all the bits we had lyin round . yeah with out front facing plenum there is only so much you can do
