My VFL burned out, it was the OLED back in the days. No point trying to find a replacement screen, my clocks turned into a big black hole

car wash anyone? -
After cleaning my blow off valves, taking them apart, oiling the pistons and putting it back together again, they now scream.... I also loosened the spring tension slightly because I was getting minor flutterdump. Scenarios: Doesn't scream from -7 psi - 0psi. Starts to scream > 0psi and gets louder to around 6 psi. Goes away from 7-14psi. BOVs are blitz DDs. Anyone have any ideas why? I took them apart and retigthtened them again but the problem didnt go away. I'm thinking of putting some gasket sealer in between the gaskets, assuming it's a leak in the gaskets.

Gtr Center Gauge Question
gwin replied to gwin's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Its always been low and havent bothered/me much. Was just wondering if its normal. Yea on long distance drives my needle goes close to 90. Just seems a bit silly to have a gauge go up to 150 if the norm is down there. If it ever reached 150 i thought you would have other things to worry about -

Hi all Apologies if this has been covered before, couldn't find it in the search What's the middle gauge, and is it normal that my temp is always very low? 70-80 degrees? Cheers,

Arc Titanium Strut Brace
gwin replied to rb31's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Can I ask, why ARC stuff are so ridiculously $Premiumed? Especially for this piece of metal? Besides the brand, it's titanium I presume? super light weight? -
What he said, be prepared to fork out lots for maintenance. Also remember to get a bargain one, because you'll need the extra cash, things break fast because of the age. You can also get a well maintained one (lots of stuff replaced) but be prepared to pay a premium. Bigger turbos, and new suspension doesn't mean well maintained. What i mean is, no leaks, new slave/master cylinders, replaced bushings, mounts hoses etc. if you buy one under 20k. Have another 10k for replacement parts. I think even the 33's are becoming of age now, 34 would be a much safer investment. Having said that, I love my R32 and haven't looked back since. Shop smart

Could be related to my gearbox issue. I'll see how it goes AFMs were cleaned recently and properly, ECU was also reset when new coilpacks went in. I'm getting another ECU sometimes this week, we'll see if the problem still persists

Just to update, brought my car to Darby's and he did a TOP JOB. Didn't actually have to swap my clutch, but he put in all the parts I got. New clutch, new seals, nismo pivot joint, brake and clutch flush. When he stripped everything down, he found a problem with my servo. Apparently the bearings were smashed, hence causing the clutch not to bite at times. This was the root cause of the "slippage". After $1.2k, I'm a happy camper. Not so happy when the credit card bill comes.
