I'd assume its shorting on something obviously. Tried tracking the wires and seeing where you get? sorry i don't have anything specific.

you'd be surprised exactly how little some cops know. My brothers a cop and if i told him my intake plenum was where the exhaust came out he'd believe me. Unfortunately we just have to cop it on the chin and take the car to the pits where some people know a little more and others still dont have a clue.

HI2U is correct. There is a metal cooling line on the front of the GTS-T. I've heard stories of power steering fluid boiling out when people have cut this out of the system, how true that is I don't know. I just removed the actuator and connected the line that was heading into the actuator to the cooling line instead. Been going fine for a month now with no issues.

They would need grounds to suspect this though. Also if they wanted to rev the engine I'd ask what rpm and do it for them. If anyone revs the car it's me.

Can borrow my airbox as long as I get it back the same day as i obviously wont be able to run my car while you have it. Pretty sure you need the mesh but the intercooler itself shouldn't be illegal as long as its mounted properly, you didnt cut it any metal work etc when mounting it. Check everything else on your car as well obviously.

Agreed, seems there were too many accidents and silliness really. For a section of the community trying to show how we are different to how we are portrayed. This cruise seems to have shown the police that we are the hoons that we are made out to be. You cant complain about being picked on then group up to speed and race on the streets, where at least 3 accidents occured.

Nah its ok I know one of the inspectors at the pits, I drop it off in the morning with the cash for the inspection and come pick it up in the afternoon. Done and dusted.

Handy having someone from the DPI on here for exact prices. Yeah just clean up all the engine bay and that, make sure your not too low, make sure all your lights and that are working, make sure your tyres aren't bald and your immobiliser is working. Thats about all. Just generally make sure its legal. If you still have all your stock parts laying around and they are in decent condition. Just swap them in when you go over, its easier.

Just wanted to point out, this has fixed my steering wheel angle issues. Just need an alignment and all will be fine.

ok we ripped that shit out tonight, 3 hours or so of work. Noone mentioned how f**ked up the bolts are that hold in the hicas actuator thingimy, a good hour of that 3 hours was me grunting and pulling at a huge breaker bar to get a 1/8th turn out of the damn thing-.- Ah well, got it off in the end. Can anyone clarify which of the boxes under my parcel tray is the hicas one? Is it the one stamped with NISSAN on the passenger side, or the other one on the drivers side?

Whats the general gist of the cruise? Hills?Coastal? etc? and/or approximate time we'd finish up?

I think everyone in WA is extremely aware of your feeling on your 30det bubba:P How much did yours cost all up? How factory can/does it look? How much difference does it make to fuel consumption/torque/hp in your case? What supporting mods are necessary? Obv ECU. Are you running a 20 or 25 box? Would the 20 box suffice on a mild power application? I'm considering a swap, but having difficulty justifying the costs and effort involved, starting to think I might just leave it with the 20 and do other things.

can you post up a pic of how yours is Bubba? Looking into getting a GTR bonnet or some sort of frp/carbon one soonish seeing as my bonnet weighs a ton.

Yeah I need to get around to it, I find it hard to get a spare 6 hours with a mate to get it done is all. Probably look at doing it next week some time, see if that fixes the issue or not. Cheers, Greg

It seems to be more like 30degrees off centre. It is also perfectly straight at low speed, I can FEEL it shift when i speed up. R Dirty 3 It would be great if you could have a look sometime, I head up to Ellenbrook pretty often anyway. Have a HICAS lock bar in my boot, should probably get around to installing it. Hey guys. I've had the strangest issue recently. When I speed up to around 80km/hr I can feel the steering wheel shift to the left and then it stays on an angle until I slow back down where it straightens back up. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the speed sensitivity of the power steering as it seems to happen at around the point you would expect the steering to be heavier. Anyone got any ideas on what the issue might be? Only noticed it occurring on Friday. Cheers, Greg.

alot like 3 times less than normal tyres. Apparently they work alot on heat cycles as well, so how ever often they heat up then cool down again. However that being said a mate ran them for a year or so before they wore out.

If i was running a GT-R I'd probably get insurance, there are obviously higher risks of theft and also the total value is enough that if i were to write it off there would be a large bill to replace it. Whereas my GTS-4 is worth less than 10k, so it's just hardly worth it.

Online Shop is the cheapest but obviously less support because you can't go back to the shop where you bought it from. Really if you want a cheaper computer stay away from Mac.
