  1. Mine gets left on the driveway as my parents have both the carparks filled with their cars in the garage. See if he can get it to a mates place or something?
  2. If i swap an RB25 in I'd likely remove the Attesa, haven't made my mind up. Then again it might be better to leave ahhhh im so lost as to what I want. Nvm I can't afford it anyway atm.
  3. mounts and everything the same or do they need to be changed? What needs to be done in connecting the ecu up for things like climate control etc? I'm also somewhat interested in this if you haven't realised:P
  4. Im somewhat interested on hearing the outcome of this also however can i quickly add my bit. I'd like to know what is gonna give me more usable mid range as opposed to an arbitrary power figure.
  5. Im slowly trying to educate my brother on this as he is a police officer, he got a 50 year old lady for DUI, and yellow stickered numerous hyundais.
  6. lol, everyone hates them but everyones gonna watch it.
  7. I know, I was gonna buy them but they sold in like 5 minutes
  8. If it is that bodyshell, Sell the glass, scrap the body and buy something else. Unless of course you wanted it as a project. And no that isnt the guy who was wrecking those two 33's Linky
  9. generally when they try to weasel out of a claim of say 4-6k just keep bugging them about it and say youll take it to court. Generally it's cheaper for the insurance company just to pay you out, I know this firsthand and if you'd like anything answered by someone who works in the industry you can pm me. (I don't work in the industry, someone close to me does and isnt just a ground level chump either)
  10. yeah it seems to me that its the same problem i have, which is coilpacks. Its 90% chance to be the coilpacks and well they are worth replacing at any rate. Our cars are old, its worth going through and replacing things. Hence why I've got alot of lines and fittings etc that I'm in the process of measuring up to replace. 20y/o rubber and wiring needs to be replaced or checked at some point.
  11. Halfcut gets you everything you need from dash forward. Schedule about 4k? (Haven't really looked into halfcut prices recently) In terms of interior there is a guy in Perth wrecking 2 33's atm that will probably have most the parts you need. His thread is in the FS section (Car parts and Accessories) Running gear you'd have to source, referring to hubs control arms etc and again that guy has a turbo 33 that hes parting out which should have most of what your looking for. Once you have 90% of it in I'm sure you'll start looking for specific parts. If your doing the work yourself and its a bit of a project then good luck with it all and im sure it will be a rewarding process. If you were looking at trying to get a cheap r33 this way you'd be better off selling this hell and getting a complete car. My2c.
  12. It was more these posts i was responding to. Not so much your own Bubba. Plus it was more a general observation anyway, not really digging at what anyone else has said.
  13. I'm always in two minds about this. Some modded cars work out being cheaper, but then again if the work has been done badly it can be costly down the track. I know a mate that bought a car with a fully rebuilt sr20 think it was putting out about 280hp atw. Long story short a couple months down the track the piston rings shit themselves. I bought what is an almost completely stock car, just exhaust and turbo timer. But I intend on keeping it mostly that way, generally because it is mainly a daily car that occasionally sees some track time. Also because im a uni student so i dont have incredibly deep pockets. If you buy a car that is already modded and putting out huge power you need to have the pockets to finance any repairs and maintenance on a car like that. On a side note, basic things like coilovers, exhaust etc are always a bonus but I wouldnt pay too much for them because if you need to rebuild the coilovers or something it's gonna cost alot.
  14. Ahh yeap makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
  15. My understanding is the standard R32 ECU adjusts timing on its own until it detects knock then adjusts it back abit, rinse and repeat. Btw don't clean out your pod filters with an airhose it can damage the material, which is why K&N etc have cleaning kits for them.
  16. Looks like a garden edging DIY lip:P Looks good.
  17. Someone needs to lock this thread.... On a side note, Hows his kit falling off? Seems fine.

  20. As far as im aware the suspension from the GTS-4 wont suit a GTS-T only a GTR. Correct me if im wrong I could be.
  21. I've not bothered to regas mine, windows down youll be fine:P
  22. Exactly, because of australias aging population cracking down on "hoons" is a great win with the public. They dont even really care about what the hoon legislation does as they dont really understand it that much and most of them drive 60 in an 80 "because thats safer". The fact is Politicians only care because it gets them votes, and hence gets them paid.
  23. you know, that actually sounds like a good idea. Made me laugh.
  24. Fairly sure i had a cop trying to get me to race him once, old falcon (super old like XYish age), dude was spinning his finger as in like "smoke it up" or whatever and was spinning the back tyres waiting for the lights when i noticed a commodore behind me, i took off slowly when the other guy launched and when i turned off i noticed the car behind me was an undercover car surprised me the undercover didnt chase the other guy and i didnt think much of it.
  25. i was thinking the same thing. Shouldnt cost that much man, its just a piece of pipe, hardest bit will be finding a new bit.
