  1. They can only be used if there is poor visibillity in fog or heavy rain , they can even book you if you have them on during the day , so don't use them if there is no fog .
  2. you will find its a lot easier using the starter to undo it , you can lock it in gear and handbrake on but you will find it has a lot of slack and it will be hard to undo . I usualy use a rattle gun if the engine is out but you cant fit the gun cause the radiator is in the way . The bolt will be very tight , about 450 nm on the rb26 , i hope you have a big 3/4 " bar to do it up , you can only use the starter to undo it . I hope you know how to set the cam timing and ajust the timing belt tension .
  3. The parkies on some integra models look like foggies and they are fairly bright too .
  4. As soon as i have time , that should be in 2 weeks time i hope , its a bitch of a job . Did you check your compressor ben ? is it ar 42 or 60 ?
  5. As long as you can fit it in there that will do the job . First undo the bolt a few turns , i would you the starter to undo it , then put your puller on and when it comes loose undo the bolt .
  6. I bet the dump cop thought the parkies were foglights ! Write to them but it wont do you any good . Go to court and take any evidence with you that you can prove that the car doesnt come with foggies .
  7. I may have to get som e new sparkies as well .
  8. Had 5 runs , best 60ft was 1.877 , 3 were 1.9xx and one a flat 2.0 , nothing special but then again a very heavy car and not much power ( 105.75 mph trap ).The car is totaly stock with 3" catback exhaust . It can only get better from here on.
  9. Not you too ( old man ??) .. The baby turbos will be going in soon but don't expect exeptional times . The car is very heavy ( 1640 kg when i did the runs ) + my 75 kg and the turbos are not much bigger than stockers , the same compressor and a little bigger exhaust haousing ..
  10. All r34 gtrs have ball bearing turbos , the 33's dont . You have small n1'turbos there , my N1's had ar 60 compressor housings . Very good turbos i might add .
  11. Why no t pull them out yourself , take the balasts and the globes out , make 2 brackets and put halogen globes in .
  12. R34 h/lights ( halogen) are $600 each from Nissan + gst , You can get them for 550 + gst Trade
  13. All the batteries have been delivered , if you are not in a hurry as soon as i have another 5 people i can get them again , just let me know .
  14. You are spot on Tommy , R32 has the least at .65 bar to .9 on the 34 and the 33 some where in between .
  15. Whats this old business , speak for yourself .......
  16. Well i managed to do a few very high 12's , best was 12.8 @97 mph , best trap 105.76 mph and best 60ft 1.877 . I think i need new spark plugs ........
  17. Rb 25 is the same bore as rb26 , the diff is the stroke 71.7 mm for rb 25 ( 2498 cc) and 73.7 for rb 26 (2568 cc ) 20thou over (.5 mm ) will give you extra 30cc aprox . You have to make sure they know what pistons to use as well to retain your compression ratio of 9 to 1 . Unless you want to change that but make sure you know what you are getting dont relay on them .
  18. Don't forget you buy insurance just in case you don't want to use it though . If you have a high performance car stolen it will be hard to get insurance again and if you do can you imagine the price !!! If its stolen and recovered you are going to be out of pocket as well , most people would have high excess for theft . Some insurance companies will give you lower premium if you have a tracker , mine will not cover me without it .
  19. Its common for the bolts to seize in the cap , the alloy corrodes ( white stuff ) and its hard to pull the bolt out . If you notice all the cam caps are mumbered and you must put them back whre they came from otherwise you are looking for trouble . If you must use a new one you have to torque it down then tunnel bore to suit , of course you can use a second hand one and measure the clearence but you must make sure its within specs . Warpzor , the best way to get the broken bolt out is : drill as big a whole as you can without going into the thread , so about 4-5 mm will be about right . Get an easyout and you should be able to get it out . If you drill a very small hole you will snap the easyout . Make sure you drill straight . If you stuff the thread , drill a bigger hole and put a helicoil in there . Whatever you do dont break the easyout in there so dont force it to much and dont use a chinese aeasyout ! Good luck with it
  20. You cant drive it in 3rd gear ? you got to be kidding ! Do you think the thieves will care if they burn your clutch ? They take the car away then cut the lock when they get their grinder going ..... Lock it in reverse and they cant get far ...
  21. $2000 for machining ? a bit on the rich side i thought , then again depends on what they are going to do . Does that include cil head work and crank regrinding , for that price it should and its still high . I had arias pistons in my rb26 40 thou oversize no probs , trade price around 1000 - 1100 including rings .
  22. These trackers have antitow device , as soon as the car moves a few meters it will call you , give you its location , speed and direction its heading.
  23. She still has the original plugs , i didn't even clean them . She has new oil, oil filter , fuel filter , air cleaner , new cat , brake fluid and a full tank of shell optimax ! When are you taking the bm out next ?
  24. I can get them anytime but has to be minimum of 5 to get them at that price . I still have 2 here but they are accounted for , if someone changes their mind i'll let you know . If you are not in a hurry for one i will get them again when i have 5 people that want one .
