    Not going to break any records Charlie , the car is totaly stock , it has a catback exhaust and thats it . I just want to see what a stock gtr can do , a porky one at that . My car is the heaviest of all Gtrs ever made 1580 kg . If you there come and say hi .

    Anyone going to the street meet at wsid this wednesday ? Weather permiting i will be running my gtr . It would be nice to match race with another 34 R .

    I don't know about your car but i can assure you they go all the way to lower mountains and will use at least half a tank of fuel .

    You will find wheels for $2500 but they will have gutter scrapes and no tyres of any substance . If you want unmarked wheels with say 4-5 mm tread on the tyres you will have to pay $3 k + depending on tyres . Good luck with your search .

    For your information bel don't run around homebush , silverwater and lidcombe . They go on the M4 and drive all the way to the lower blue mountains and back and yes they run it in 4th gear all the way to the redline ( 230kmh +)

    Thats quiktrak , they don't have any cover outside sydney at all and its old technology . The latest trackers use gps to track ( as long as its above ground you can track it ) and gsm to communicate . With the gps tracker you dont have to pay annual fee you can track your own for the cost of a phone call.

    You probably find that he has a bigger exhaust and it hangs down . The 100 mm minimum hight is when fully loaded !!!

    They are probably a little worn as well . Any car with wide tyres at the front will tram to some extend , i got 265 's it trams too , it even trams with the stock 245's but not as much .

    Because the fronts are to wide . What width are the tyres ?

    Thats for sure . By the way if you get one of them dont lock it in 5th ( they can drive in 5th no worries ) , lock it in reverse .

    At least they have one guy driving ( usualy Eric ) while Ben tunes it . When i was in japan i saw this guy going out on his own with the laptop at 8 o'clock at night to tune this GTR on his own , scary .

    Soon they will have their own . We did ours in south coast but he uses one at ingeburn as well .

    You are right Charlie high average power is what you want not just peak . The other thing is if we take it to another well known dyno it will make around 380 kw on all 4 .

    You can get dynos to read whatever you want them to , the proof is on the track . we have another 33 that ben tuned it only makes 290 kw @ all 4 but it did run 11.33@ 124 mph , so there you go .

    I had my old 33 gtr tuned at bel and it ran 11.7 @121 mph @wsid on 18" street tyres . The only mods , full exhaust , power f/c and 1.2 bar boost , everything else stock , even stock airbox . Ben knows his stuff and he has the jap software for power f/c's . He doesn't have a dyno but he is moving very soon and then he will have a 4wd dyno . When i finish my r34 it will be tuned by bel , thats for sure .

    If you have zero oil pressure your engine would't last very long at all . both top end and bottom end , big ends would go in like 5 minutes running . I would say you have a crook sender ( the oil switch on near the oil filter ) or a crook gauge . How long ago since it stopped working ? Sudden or gradual ?

    You can still bring 15y.o. cars in but it can finish anytime now . If you want to bring a 32 give me a p.m. and can put you in touch with someone in japan to buy the car for you so you dont have to pay an extra $1000 to saomeone in australia as well .

    You will still be able to bring r32's the only difference you will have to comply them so they will cost you extra $2 -4 k plus you will have to remove any mods and maybe put them back after .

    If its older than 15 years you have no problem . If not and its already in australia you will not get it complied . If still in japan there is a place in sydney that have plates for 32's now .As you are in melbourne i couldnt tell you .

    First they have to know that you have such a thing in your car and they have to subpoena the log by that time its all gone it only stores a couple of hours on the log . So no it wont work that way , you only use it when it suits you .
