  1. You dont have to cut anything it all fis out .if you dont draind the oils out its going pour out the rear when the whole thing is tilted .
  2. The best tune would be a road tune followed by a dyno tune because of the high speed neede to tune top end .

  4. According to the details that i have er34 was released for sale may 98 and bnr 34 , january 99 . I guess they would have built some cars before the release date . I have no reason not to believe the info that i have ..
  5. It doesn't sound good , sorry to say but i think you are up dor a full rebuild . Do a compression and a leakdown test , it thats good then its just turbos .
  6. If it slips , bite the bulet take the box off and replace the whole thing . You dont have to use a different pressure plate , you can use a Nissan one if you like ( i wouldnt though ) . By just changing the clutch plate now , you are going to have to pull the box down again to replce the pressure plate , clutch plate and thrust bearing very soon. The reason its slipping worn clutch plate and pressure plate or to much power if not stock.

  8. Thrust bearing is just that a bearing , clutch plate is the round thing with the friction material on it , so no 2 different things .
  9. Why you want to change the "just the clutch plate " , is the clutch slipping ? if yes dont bother do a complete job , if no dont bother taking it out until it starts slipping .
  10. Most modern cars don't have cable they are electronic , so nothing that can break.

  12. I don't think the gtt's have a chip in the key , i can tell you if i see the key . The 34 gtrs have a chip in the key so if you want another key you have to get one from Nissan , have it cut then take it to them to program it .

  14. 99-2000 rz supras sell for about 1.8 mil jpy in jap auctions , thats for a 6 sp manual with 50 k k's on the clock . 98-2000 gtt's sell for about .1.6 mil jpy for a 5 speed manual with the same k's . As you can see there is not much diff in the price of the 2 . Both have 206kw but supra has 451 n/m and gtt has only 333 n/m Supra has even heaps more torque that the 34 gtr (only 392 n/m ) Supra weighs 1510 kg and gtt only 1410 kg . I don't know wich is quicker in straight line but i dont think there is much in it , on the other hand the 34 gtr is much quicker than both . In May 98 the gtt ( release date ) was selling for 2.9 mil jpy and the rz 4.5 jpy ( in august 99 ) The gtt has a better resale value than the rz ( in japan ) By comparison in january 99 Gtr sold for 5 mil jpy and V-spec 5.6 mil . I dont know which car is better between the 2 , i think is a personal opinion as they are both good cars . I think i would buy a 33 gtr for about the same money as the supra .

  16. You do need something , a broken shaft will do the job . Trany takes about 3.8 lts . Time depends on your skills and tools you have .

  19. Do you have the the steering column cover , the 2 plastic bits that go around it ? steering lock assembly ? All to suit r 34 .
  20. I would love to be there but i don't have the 33 anymore , sold it in March . The 34 is still bog stock ( just catback ) , i ran 12.8 wed the 2nd . I have the stuff ready to go on but last wed some lowlife assholes desided they wanted my car , they broke in to it did some damage and i have to fix it before i consider doing any mods . I know its a long way to the meet but r34 gtr parts are not that easy to come by so i can't commit .
  21. I have done 240 on the drag strip , wsid . speedo needle keeps going past 180 , r33 gtr in 4th gear .
  22. What part of australia do you live in ? $25 k for a 33 gtr ? how many can you buy me for that price ? you are a fool if you think you can buy a 33 gtr for $25 k v-spec or not . I have an idea of what they are worth here and in Japan and its a lot more than $25 k in australia , actualy his asking price is very close to the mark for a good nick 33 v-spec . I sold mine 2 months ago a burgandy 95 non v-spec for almost what the this seller is asking , i won't tell you the price but i will p.m. the seller . Any way you have a deal , find me as many 33 gtrs you want ( any spec , any model ) registered in australia ( must be legal ) for $25 k , i'll buy everyone of you and give you an extra $1000 per car . I'm waiting for your p.m. with the cars but i know i won't be holding my breath .
  23. Who told you that sealed batteries are not legal to have in the boot ? Sealed batteries have many advantages over normal lead acid batteries and only one disadvantage - price .
  24. Does anyone have a r34 gtr wiring diagram ? I already have the gtt but its not the same . I need the diagram for the factory immobliser . Some iddiots broke in to my gtr and smashed the lock thinking they were going to start it .
