  1. I honestly think the manual VL would be better than a POS AUTO Skyline, just change the rims to some SS rims. Why the hate of manuals, just curious. Post up some info on it, motor, mods, spares, you may get a bite. Good luck anyway mate.
  2. I still sometimes call it the DMT.
  3. Was going to get some new ones, I'll be looking at medium to hard as the boat weights 1450ish kg, none of the second hand ones I've seen or asked the tyre dudes at the track about are the size I'm after "245ish/40ish 17" but no bigger(8" rim) On the tyres hardness, I'm using my totally uneducated guess work, if I've got this wrong feel free to tell me I've got it all wrong. I'm hoping for them to last a while to, last time I used soft compound the tyres lasted 2 sessions. I'll only be using them for sprints, so 1 or 2 warm up laps then 2 hot ones. Thanks.
  4. Looking for something like 245/40 17 for my boat, tire rack don't do full slicks and I'm after happy prices, Am I going to get some for happy price or am I going to have to bite the bullet and pay through the nose. Thanks, Mark.
  5. Rego 2011 or 2012 ? Any problems with it.
  6. I'll call you in a while mate.
  7. $150, Which is 1/2the price of new ones. I used them on R34 GTT rims on a R33 GTST.
  8. Wish this was in Sydney, would go well with my S1 GTR 34 fronts, good price too.
  9. Ive had my wheel aligments done about 15 to 20 times there over the last 3-4 yrs, LOL. Ive had no problems with them, just be sure to tell them what you want it for, a couple of guys there do drifting and some trackdays, the boss owns a Rambler Gremlin drag car. Go have a chat to them.
  10. I've got the JJ ones. Cost me $55 at JAX in Liverpool each time I do my wheel alignment before track days I get 3.5 front and 2.5 rear, then returned to street setting after. They need to remove my front wheels and get it up on a hoist to adjust the front, all up takes them about 45 minutes max, nothing about bushes, a couple of big spanners is all that is needed. I'm wanting adjustable castor arms ? now.
  11. You can do this now, as far as I'm aware with Shannons at least, BUT, you will pay for it in your premiums. When I was getting comp on mine it was a option to insure it for whatever I thought was a fair replacement cost, and mine is only a GTS T, the car does need to be inspected though. In saying that, if the car only sees occasional weekend use or club days then maybe this will lower the premiums a bit. Maybe.
  12. Vacuum line to the gate?
  13. AWSOMENESS, good luck.
  14. PM me if you've got one, only interested in one in Sydney though as I wish to inspect before purchase. Thanks.
  15. Fair enough about the "alleged" offence, BUT, if he is found guilty I vote for "CRUSH IT". ; )
  16. Sorry dunnyboy for my typos, though I do stand by my claims that if you speed you deserve all that you get. And if my typos are enough to distract you from the main story of a guy getting done for doing 100 in a 40 zone then so be it. Or was it just easier to pick a random fault in my side of the conversation than to express your point of view on the subject .
  17. Go speak to Yavus at UNIGROUP, he has a guy who does them, BUT, with the new regulations in place, be prepared to do some changes, all in all it is well worth it though.
