  1. Good food, lots of water and ramp up a fitness program. What is your current fitness program like, are you overtraining, how is your diet, are you eating 6 small meals a day which have all the food groups, do you know about when to eat carbs and proteins prior to or after training. I know when I let my diet and fitness drop I feel like crap, but when I start eating good again and get some training in I'm good again. Don't take drugs to mask the problem.
  2. Did the SAU RENEW thing, the SAU day in December and a couple of days with SSCC. Eastern creek and Wakefield. Hopefully my oil issues are now sorted as only doing one session per day has been very annoying to set the least. Bring on the sprints.
  3. The wonky shape was intentional, the far left was taken out further to block any heat excaping out the gap and to give protection to the ABS wiring. And its better than the beanie which cost $250 and didnt last.
  4. This took me 2 hrs with beer breaks, my expensive turbo beanie fell apart in 3 months, material cost $56 at super cheap, so far so good.
  5. ^^^^^^What he said^^^^^^^^. Members poll > http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/354348-sau-track-day-timed-or-passengers/
  6. Nothing for a while, it doesnt bother me as it only happens on full lock, although my next set of tyres for the daily rims will be 245/40 17.
  7. 345 f and 335 r ATM, it has sagged 5mm from when it was last set, though I do have adjustable whiteline sway bars which may help, their set on the second hardest setting on the front and the hardest setting on the rear. Daily rims are R34 GTT and the tyres are 245/45 17, tyre slightly hits the plastic left inner guard on full lock, Ive put on 245/40 17 and they clear by about 5 mm. What size/offset rims and tyres you using ?
  8. 355 front and 345 rear is the recommended ride height for handling and correct suspension geometry if I remember correctly. Have a look in the old group buy thread by Sydneykid.
  9. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hoosier&tireModel=D.O.T.+Drag+Radial Match up your rim width with a tyre that fits.
  10. Mate, if you want 2 x 235/45 17 tyres with about 70% tread for free pick them up, dont really have the time or desire to take pics.
  11. 70%
  12. Ive got 2 you can have for free, near liverpool.
  13. $700 in gel coat from BLITS BODY KITS in Queensland, I've had it at 220ish ( not really looking at speed, more so braking points because I'm a scaredy cat) at eastern creek so far, the bonnet latch has extra reo on it and Blits say you don't need pins. Best bet is to ring them and ask.
  14. It's made to comply with ADR and comes with a certification which has a serial number on the bonnet and the certificate matched to the vehicle, its all on the blits web site, to comply it needed to be tested, at and at least 3mm thick and have reinforcing. It's all written up in the ADR and the RTA website under fiberglass replacement panels.
  15. You will also need to learn a few phrases, "pull your head in you fool", "were you born stupid or were you dropped as a child", stuff like that. And you will more than likely use them on me...
  16. I like chicks, I like them cooking and washing and ironing and other stuff......... Dont take me to seriously mate, come to some trackdays, motorkhanas, drag days and stuff, thats where the funs at.
  17. You will pay a fortune for the fitting of custom metal flares if you cannot do it yourself, huge amount of metal work involved to have a good job so it doesnt have 20kg of putty filling in the seams. And on the note of wide body kits, what out were you take it if you go this way, last panel shop I went to had a S15 with the rear quarters cut out with a grinder and the rear guards mounted directely over the gap, giving the rear end the structural integrity of a wet paper bag. What size tyres are yo trying to get under the arches ??
  18. Ill be in the stands and pits yelling and grinning as usual, looking at the grid girls and stealing stickers, I hope they get some good Tshirts too as last years were non existant, 2010 were rubbish and fell apart but the 2009 ones are still going strong. Good luck with your builds guys, hope everyone goes well. Is it August yet ?????
  19. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_2162/article.html This is mine, blits fibre glass bonnet, legal and lighter than my stock R33 GTST bonnet, I was after something to maximise the flow through my I/C, radiator and oil cooler. AFAIK no carbon bonnet is legal and alot have the look but not the physics.
  20. But he only comes once a year....
  21. Sad to say that alot of people need cash fast and cannot afford to keep their cars, if your willing to low ball theres bargains to be had if your lucky and they need cash quick, Ive known guys who have come into some cash but then spent it all on crap, when its rego time theres no money and a car sitting in the driveway, I also know guys who search out these guys with a pocket full of cash. Unfinished project cars can be had for a pitance of there real value too, my mate picked up a clean HQ one tonner that needed paint for $500 from a guy that was being posted to Darwin, he had no room in his new residence for it, 2 months rego, a 307 with a powerglide, and HQ statesman front end, he had spent a ton of cash on it. Ive been hit myself with a AW11 MR2 which I was trying to sell before I went overseas, no takers at all untill a guy turned up wanting to buy the rims and some interior parts which he said he would pay $600 for, I told him he could have them for $600 if he took the car away. Some one sell me a clean VL for $500.......
  22. So does your missus................
