  1. I ran 25mm hubcentric spacers on mine, needed to have the guards rolled though running under -2 deg on the rear, the R34 GTT rims are recessed to accept spacers no problem.
  2. LOL, I'm 46 and have been playing with motorbikes, car engines and bodys for 31 yrs, but go for it, it will be easy, you can do it, welding is easy, safety isn't that important, if you wreck it just buy another car, enjoy.
  3. I've never paid extra, all purchases were under $1000.
  4. Is your spark failing, why do you need new coil packs, are you running over 25 psi. If there not failing dont replace them for the sake of it !!!
  5. Full service, oils (engine, gearbox, diff), fluids (coolant, brakes, powersteering, clutch), , air filter (not a pod please) correct plugs, wheel alignment, then get it run up on a dyno to see if the fuel and shizzles is OK. Work out what you want the car for, then work out your budget, then talk again to tuner and ask questions, be carefull, alot of dodge guys out there just want your money in their pocket. Read all the threads in here, dont forget brakes and handling, this should be one of the first upgrades, a well set up car will be better than a car with more power but no brake or susspension upgrades. Dont buy cheap tyres . Only replace things that need replacing, dont buy things that will need to be upgraded again later if the power bug bites..
  6. Tyres alone will cost $500 and you get a free set of R34 GTT rims.
  7. Quick, someone call a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaambulance
  8. Located near Liverpool
  9. "Ive been told" to put it on the hot side as the spinning crank produces a low pressure zone on that side of the sump, where as the cold side has a high pressure zone. Pics of mine
  10. Even with the housing coated there is a lot of radiant heat, beanie was the best then the heat shield. Only problem with the beanie was my last one was rubbish and fell apart in a couple of months, I'm looking at a better one now, you get whether you pay for. Heat shielding on the top mount didn't look good as it was to shiny, and no matter how much time I put into it it still didn't make me happy aesthetics wise. Finding a quality beanie that will withstand the heat without falling apart is the most efficient and aesthetically pleasing option in my opinion.
  11. Thermostat ?
  12. Is the front undertray from the front bar back of the radiator back, if its front bar back will you be home late this arvo
  13. In NSW its OK, apparently
  14. Ah, OK, problem for now seem that they only do -8 and my return is -12, Ill have to do some more hunting it seems. Thanks for the info
  15. We need a " legal thread", changing road laws, legal mods, engineering legalitys.
  16. Get it on and tuned man
  17. It is a lawfull order, pity that alot of fully hecktic people think they are super awsome and the laws that everyone else have to follow doesnt include them. In the end it will be fine because hopefully they will never breed and their genes of stupidity and heckticness will die with them.
