a new caltex opened new me recently, so i thought i'd try the vortex 98......the knock meter didnt like it very much, its come down alot since going back to BP ultimate.

that sounds like an idea i might try, what kind of relay did you use and where did you get it....i'm abit confused on what type to use, and then basically ground the relay......draw power from the battery and the ignition wire from the orginal wiring??? is that somewhere in the ballpark on what needs to be done?

which is a better pump?? i need to get a new one but unsure on which one. I want to try one of these to fix a problem i'm having with detonation......it will not detonate on the dyno but on the street it will randomly detonate. So i was gonna try one of these two pumps.....i currently have a r33 gtr pump installed.....running on the standard r32 gtst wiring. Any ideas would be appreciated. Should i try a constant power from the battery??? 1. bosch 040 intank.....supposedly doesnt need a sock???? 2. Walbro 255l intank pump thanks

choose z32 80mm afm in the airflow setting menu and leave at 100% air flow......u can pull abit out the injectors..... had my car running on 94% with gtr injectors to get it to the workshop....was running like a hairy goat. Other option is to use ur NRMA road service if you have and arragnge a tow truck......helped me out once or twice. Let the tuner worry about the idle....thats what your paying him for.

Hey Everyone.....this might seem strange.....but anyone had a problem with knock going sky high when jumping off the throttle and in some case jumping straight on it (i.e. Deceleration). I can run thru all the gears.......WOT and might get knock of 35-40 but then if i hesitage half way thru 3rd it will gimme a knock of 60+. I jump off the throttle immediately to avoid causing something bad. Any idea and maybe a solution which i can do via hand controller? Thanks George

switch the boost controller to the off position....should disable the solenoid and see if u can still hear it. Worth a try

Hey Sydkid, what would be the best setup with the whiteline sway bars on an r32 for street??? both on soft???? I just bought a pair from a group buy and am about to fit them. What do u think? Thanks George

why dont u try running the car without the boost controller.....and see how it responds??? so then it will run the wastegate actuator pressure and u can by process of elimination fix the problem with small incriments of boost.
