  1. reset the ecu. You can check the resistance on ur coil packs by taking them out and putting a multimeter on them (+ & -). They should read between 0.6 and 0.9ohms. Make sure ur plugs are at the right gap too - what sort are u running? How old is ur battery? Wouldnt be anything to do with auto electrics?
  2. what about a passenger dash vent? I am on the coast...
  3. Strutto, I added it to redlineau.com for you, I hope its not too late Any news on it?
  4. how much do u want for the 225/45 R17's??
  5. 2nd hand tyre king at slacks creek. I got 2 bridgestone potenza's 50-60% tread for $65 each, fitted & balanced. All good. Have also been to all-round tyre (tyrepower) at albion. They have a few 2nd had ones too. Havent purchased from them tho....
  6. The problem sounds like coil. According to RB20DET.com, a healthy coil's resistence should measure 0.6 - 0.9ohm. I tested mine last nite and they were between 0.8 & 0.9ohm. My car was missing at about 4500 (full boost). Turned out it was my gap in plugs. I set them to 0.8, and its happy days. Big datto, thats a good way to sus out a faulty coil. Might try that oneday, but u wont be able to see what is happening under full load tho.
  7. Fark man! sorry to hear about this mate. I will keep an eye out. The guy who stole it must be first class tool, to be showing up around the carpark on a sat nite etc. Its only gonna be a matter of time. Get the word out and he will be caught if he is driving it around....
  8. I am pretty sure i have seen this one years ago - the white 6 spokes ring a bell - I sat in it back in 2000. Was it complied by skyline imports? If it was it would have been probably one of the first 34 GTR's to be complied in Australia....
  9. im in the same boat spooks... i think i gotta get off my ass and actually goto the shop and chat to them rather than checking their site....
  10. ahh nice so that means that the GTR spoiler on by boot is a GTR one? Did nissan make them for gtst's & gtr's or is there one type ?
  11. I thought the clay bar should only be used about once a year to strip the surface of contaminants back to the clear coat. I have used the megiuars one. U spray on some quick detailer to lubricate the surface then in a circular motion rub the clay bar in.
  12. I like to use a stubbie cooler (wetsuit material) turned upside down over it, comes in handy when there is an emergency too I have an aluminium one, it cylindrical about 3-4 inchs long and about 1.5inches round. has HKS printed on the side of it. I am talking about my shift knob yeah u are better off spending it on ur own knob lol
  13. white 32 gtst with white tri spoke mags, tinted windows and a loud f*ck off exhaust - sounded like a straight thru with no cat or muffler. Down the coast on sat nite at the carpark and also leaving surfers heading southbound along GC hwy. Saw a nice 34 GTR on park road last week too. Was white vspec no. plates NVS 677 (envious 6 twin turbo)
  14. I used to work at bunnings in the timber yard for a couple of years. Saw plenty of dodgey loadings being done. Pissed fellas driving their old corolla/camira/commy/falcon/etc thru and just putting stuff on the roof (without racks) and tieing it off very half a$$ed - was a sight to see. I used to help load trailers and utes but never tie down stuff for them to cover my a$$.
  15. Are you sure??? There is no way I would put a pizza cutter on the front for turning :S If I had a flat at the front I would do a swap to have the spare on the back...
  16. I just lowered mine today using king springs 'lows'. The box says on the side in niko writing: KDFL101 and KDRL102 I got them thru mercury motorsport www.mercurymotorsport.com.au for $230. I lowered it with a mate, all went well, took under 3 hrs. 32's are alot easier to lower than 33's - you dont have to take the back seat out.
  17. Depends what sort of crowd u wanna mingle with really & what sort of person u are (and the folk you are going out with) City is good for getting rattassed on beer & cheap spirits listening to live music, with heaps of young broads and middle aged blokes wanting to score a r00t & getting agro. I like the port office, fridays, vic, the stocky (exchange), irish murphys, adrenalin, PJ obriens, embassy. Just a bit out of town on corro drive there is the regatta & the RE. Plenty of young uni lass's. Not a fan of hotel LA & caxton st. Had some good nights at the normanby (nice pub, very large). Valley has a different vibe about the place - different folk. Plenty of stunners, pill poppers, and wierdos. But I feel everybody tends to keep to themselves and be more accepting rather than the vibe you get in town... Family is a great nite out (if you are dressed for the occasion) GPO, sun bar, elephant & wheel barrow, belushis. I hear the dirty old shamrock has been revamped - must go and sus it out sometime hehe. Arena usually hosts good alternative bands touring. Havent been to a rave there (yes i am a rave virgin), but i hear the raves are all good. The Coast is full of terry's on steroids and the chix are gold diggers. Omalleys is great fun for a few good pints of kilkenny & also snakebites. Gilhooleys, melbas, shooters arent too bad. Rose & crown & sugar shack are ok. Not a fan of the drink. The clock is a nice hotel. Billys beachhouse does cheap drinks. bourbon bar is feral. I wanna try fever one night, i hear its all good - similar music to the family apparently. thats my word on the street cant wait to smack it on the long weekend, not sure where it will be yet...
  18. sounds dangerous Is that the one that carbinject (CNJ) tune ??? I remember seeing a yellow one in there about 18 months ago, not sure if it has been painted lately :S
  19. go the carbon fibre look
  20. :werd: Jason is a top bloke, does alot of work on a variety of nissans.
  21. which reminds me Syl, i have those pics of urs when u first got ur 19's on - they turned out pretty good. I will email them when i get home next week.
  22. About to put some king springs in my car this weekend. Was wondering how low it sits with 'lows', i know now 30mm. I am leaning towards the bilstein shockies in the next couple of months... Does anybody know of any good stockists? Preferably in SE qld but I wanna look around and get some prices from some websites. Is there different spec shockies made by Bilstein for the 32 gtst? I am after comfortable daily driver that can be taken to the track/strip a couple of times in a year...
  23. my gearbox feels like a sh!tter when cold, its not too bad when its warmed up, but still grinds every now and then if i am up it and dont put the clutch in all the way. And i have a heavy duty clutch too.....
