Pull the ring up under the knob and twist and lock it into street mode.

Nah it only goes 1st to 2nd to 3rd then 4th, you can't get 5th or reverse in race mode. Once you get to 4th gear you cannot downshift into any other gear.

She won't be no black sheep kingy it will be the destroyer of Mackay, it gonna be a lean mean ass kicking machine once it gets tuned on E85 it going straight out to Palmyra to see if i can get a low 11 sec. -
Not 100% sure on the harness but i think they are 4 inches they are FIA spec i'll measure them tomorrow.

Will get some pics tomorrow for you, they basically stop you from downshifting into the wrong gear. e.g when you go from 1st to 2nd, you can not physically can not back into 1st, it locks you out, and the same with 2nd to 3rd. Its a pretty trick bit of gear very good for people with PPG dogboxes.

Update Time. Poor old 33 has been a bit neglected since i got the Z and we have been dragging the 32, so over the next few weeks i'm gonna get this bitch making some noise again. Well what has changed this time compared to the last few times.... nothing much just more refinement, a few ideas we put into the 32 i am now transferring into the 33. Plus this time its gonna make a heap more horsepower thanks to the new E85 system it will be running, hopefully this engine will be pretty bullet proof just like the 32 but me being me i want to push this standard N1 Nur engine to breaking point. 400awkw is the goal any more than that will be a bonus. The engine side of things is pretty much complete, the new Radiator system will be finished tomorrow, fuel system should be done in the next few days also. Got a few more things to get welded up but other than that its nearly done. I just wanna hear my new titanium exhaust system . Engine bay nearly done: -

No worries i will experiment with the toe's and cambers thanks for your input duely noted . Its hard at the moment to get consistent data feedback due to the lack of practice but once we do these few minor adjustments to the car and get passed by Andra we can go full throttle. As for the sump tank Andra states that all oils, batteries etc must not be in the drivers compartment, our's is behind the passenger seat at the moment and we do not have enough room in the boot for a 15L tank, easiest option is to sell the big tank and buy a smaller one and mount it in the engine bay like most dry sumped drag GTR's put them. No big drama its fairly easy change so no skin off our nose. Also our Stillway 0-400m Drag shifter turned up today, so i installed and tested it straight away, seems like a good bit of gear, now we don't have to worry about putting in the wrong gear and killing the engine. I also got pulled over by the Cops while my brother and I were driving it for a RBT, they had a pretty cheesy grin on the face as the knew the car was definitely not street legal, but they didn't say anything and drove off and let us be. Thought they were gonna impound the car for sure hahaha maybe next time.

Mark at Godzilla Motorsport got them for us but they are really expensive, $1000 just for the shafts you have to use your own CV Joints, if i was you i would buy Standard GTR ones and then look at the suspension set-up as standard ones should be able to handle that easily. Plus the shafts don't last forever maybe it was it time?

I agree Cal, we have a Twin Plate NPC Clutch in our drag GTR and its so easy to use plus they are cheap and easy to rebuild.

Thanks for you support and comments guys, as for the toe out on the rear, i remember reading it a long time ago somewhere on another drag GTR possibly an old HPI magazine not quite sure, so i decided to try it. The Car seem to handle OK, we are still in the experimental stage but all n all happy with the progress. Not going to up the power yet as we should be able to get the 9 sec pass with a few more tweaks, and i have only done 2 proper flat out runs as they keep kicking me off the track. I am going to change the camber angles again front and rear this time to try get a little bit more usable grip. If the 9 sec pass is achievable on the Advans, i might up the power levels and see how far i can push them maybe a mid to low 9? Don't know see how it goes, i get quite a few weird looks out at the strip from all the falcodore guys cause we run 19inch wheels and get 10's lol, then drive home and they all have to change the rims and tires back over, makes me laugh I have ordered all the parachute gear today so should have all that shortly, only delay will be moving the dry sump tank from in the car into the engine bay, a lil bit of stuffing around but i do have to order a smaller Peterson tank which could take a little while to make as know one has them in stock. f**king gay ANDRA Rules.

There is no TCS system, there is very mild camber on the front, we did pull all the camber out of the back which was at -1.2 degree and is around -0.2 now, using my brothers new fangdangle camber and toe alignment gear.

Hi Guys, I have some spare time to write an update now, as use know we went out to Palymara Dragway for a test and tune on friday night, I got 5 runs in total done for the night, my first run I backed off in 3rd gear to roll through as we where only trying to make some progress on my launches and get those dam 60 foot times down lower, well that was a fail and i still managed to roll through for a 11.6. As I dont have a Andra Super Street licence I cannot run under 12secs and basically there was an argument about me having to leave. In the end I was alowed to continue as long a I backed off in 2nd gear. So I completed a further 3 more short passes and eventually got my 60 foot times down to 1.62 which is still fairly bad in my eyes for a GTR (BUT i do have 19inch rims on and im way to hard on the clutch still, so getting f**k loads of wheel spin in 1st gear). After a few hours the Drag Offiicals approched me and said that they have some free Andra Super Street licences available to give to me as i said f**ken oath $150 buck licence for free Wahoo hahaha. Which still only allows me to run in the 11 sec bracket and no less. But on my last run I just gave it all shes got and managed to pull a 10.33 at 145MPH with a very shitty 1.73,,, 60 foot time and probally some of my slowest gear changes. So I have only done 2 full qtr mile passes in the car and managed a 10.99 at 135MPH and than a 10.33 at 145MPH so hopefully I can pull it together and get a 9sec pass on those dam 19inch rims and this is only the 23PSI small tune at around 700RWHP. Havent got the pills yet to put it into the 26/27PSI tune which is around 800AWHP. Parachute is on its way

Nah not that stiff i'm just running bog stock Tein super streets with 5kg/mm Fronts and 4kg/mm Rears and was running 20psi in all 4 tyres. Only thing i done from last time was change the rear end geometry from 1.5degree negative Camber to 0.2degree negative and put 1mm toe out on the rear.

Yeah knew it was coming but didn't think we were gonna go that fast on the second full pass run this car has ever done, pretty happy with the progress so far, still having lots of traction issues.

Gonna have to get a Parachute and a Andra License before we go out next time as the officials were pretty pissed off this time lol!!!!!!!!

Last nite was epic fun at Palmyra until the officials told us we were to fast, but they lets us have one full power run at the end of the night. My lil bro drove the arse out of the R32 and got a 10.33 at 145mph still with a crappy 1.7sec 60ft, poor old brakes only just pulled it up. We are not allowed back now til we get a Andra License and a Parachute . Next step is 9 sec just gotta get the 60ft time down and a 9 will be a piece of piss on 19inch rims, poor old falcodore guys didn't no what hit them hahaha and whats even better is the cops were parked beside us all night and they didn't say a word and dad jumped in the car and drove it home. Cheers to everyone that came out to support us hope you enjoyed it.

Can't say i've done much modifying myself either lol. Woohoo drags tonight can't wait to smell freshly burnt Advans, and listen to a high revving RB with anti-lag ....doesn't get much better than that, anyways i'm off to go prep the 32 GTR for tonight's outing might see you's out there!!!!!!!!!!
