i would say that one is not the return under as if you see the piping for the under ones either have a really sharp bend like 180 degree one and i have seen some IC's that actually have an outlet pipe sticking out the bottom of the IC not out the side like most converional ic's

yea its a bit iffy. their is no way i will be paying that much though i guess i really have to work out how much $$$ i want to spend but i was hoping for <$1,000 talking with a couple of people at the moment on the plate is blitz lm ic + piping $1100 r33 gtr cooler $350 possibly hybrid + piping around $700 (would be leaning towards this at the moment.) i am not going to be pushing huge amounts of power/boost through the car so really its not worth spending $1500 on a top of the range setup.

yea what geordie has said is meant ot be true in regards to the heat some have argued that black is actually better if you do a search i think you will find some threads and boj01 thats what i was thinking i was more conserned about the integrity of the cooler itself. The guy said eh did a preasure test and it came back fine so i think i will wait for some more pics then make my mind up. cheers all

yea i spoke with john about it a bit on the dyno day. at the moment i would rather try and pick up a gtr cooler but we will see down the track also the gtr coolers wernt all black to my knowledge also this one has been polished as you can see. but yea i dont like the thought of a dinged up cooler to much

well stevie after all this you were right the guy was not that good worst deal ever after 3 attempts to get the cooler first aus post second overnight tnt then him delivering it in person something came up each time. now onto the 3rd time trying to get my money back as well and at least this time I have a reference number if anything doesn’t go as planned. anyways after over a month of trying to get it I am over this one now onto hopefully finding another one and I am hoping you Canberra folks can offer some advise The following are some pics of an r33 gtr cooler which I am looking at getting for a decent price everything looks ok to me except a few bent fins (to be expected) but the top of the IC looks dinged up. could be the camera angle but not sure. Anyways I am getting some closer pics of it hopefully but can people please offer any advice on if it does look bad and does it look like a genuine 33 gtr cooler...

depends i want the polished look piping if possible not the blue or red piping. The group buys seem to be going for around $650 - 700 so for a second hand one i guess $500 + ??? really need to see pics of condition etc also as stated a gtr cooler would be ideal. overall though i am not looking to spend more than $1,000.

well just got back from my holiday in newcastle/gf's grad. did some quad bike riding in the sand dunes of Stockton went to the beach and I now have a screwed knee like literally struggling to walk I think its from when I went bush 2 weeks ago and jumped off a log about 3 meters anyways went to physio (dodgy spelling I know) and she reckons 3 - 4 weeks to be all good again so yea wont be doing anything adventurous for a while
