  1. What supra's? Also, there was a 2 door 32 and a 240K there, and my car parked out on the road!
  2. does this image work?
  3. Who's going to the car show at Banyo for a gander tommorow?
  4. Yeah, will see how i get on. Back out to site Midday Wednesday, which could throw a spanner in the works if things go south, but we'll see... Exactly what i thought, that's why i'm going now. My parents went for a drive to Tamborine in their datsun fairlady. Got very very hot under the black vinyl roof...
  5. Yeah, i've been digging through guides, process itself is pretty straight forward. Thanks for the tip of smashing off the cam gear belts before removing the tensioner, hadn't thought of that one. Timing belt and pulley's have been done recently, unless the tensioner/water pump etc is obviously stuffed i probably won't bother replacing them, either way once i tear it down i can make a decision and get the parts before i put it back together again. Then.. fuel pump, injectors and AFM. Then getting the car to the workshop. I'm figuring flatbed may be the best bet, anyone know a good towing mob?
  6. Today is a good day for a drive, methinks
  7. Indeed, need to do the full Monty on it, perhaps even drop the radiator out too due to this one being stupidly thick. Not going to do it today though as I want the car tonight+on the weekend, its a Monday job.
  8. Pretty sure i might aswell drop the radiator to make things simpler. Heck might as well engine out too
  9. I'm actually trying to figure out if i need to take off the timing belt completely, or just undo the gears and put the new ones in in place, (assuming the timing belt etc is brand new, that's another thing) or if that's going to mess up the tension on the belt. Long story short i don't have the tools to remove the harmonic balancer.
  10. Still working up the courage to do my cam gears...
  11. That's what i'm afraid of. anyone know any good trailer rental mobs? Alternatively i could shell out for the nistune software+cable and fiddle with the ECU to get it working i suppose
  12. car is tuned with std Afm's and injectors. Put in Z32 afm's and 850cc injectors, what's going to happen? Cancel the effect out or is the ECU going to have a fit? Car needs to get from Mt Gravatt to Southport, that's all.
  13. Will do better next time i'm sure. Staff member is back from sick leave, no more moving the office but still having to do the same amount of work, stress levels should be way down.
  14. I keep trying to exercise a lot at site and a keep coming back fatter. Up to 92kg's or so now.
  15. Well, i never did one from the age of 0 to the age of 18. I was just trying to put emphasis on the "didn't need to do one so didn't do one" thing, guess i was a bit subtle.
  16. I didn't do one for 18 years.
  17. Good way to beat an audit supposedly
  18. What's on on Sunday?
  19. 79 buck games? Can barely remember what that was like before steam and getting American friends to buy regional priced games for me.
  20. Also, legnum/galant vr4 owners everywhere laugh at you complaints of hard to get to turbos
  21. Technically correct, the best kind of correct.
  22. Been watching the invisible man, going to start on season 2 tomorrow. that being said in the kind if person who could just sit looking out the window for the whole trip.
  23. Last day today... 5 hour bus ride tommorow
  24. Mornig ants, all.
  25. Got a deadline to do my bits. Fuel pump, cam gears, AFM's and injectors need to be in by the time i finish RnR, booked in for a tune on the second day back from my next swing, so hopefully it'll be a whole new beast for... march. Don't think the injectors have left the states yet though, so might not get them until I head back out to site. Good thing I left myself a spare contingency day.
