  1. One needs more power to make the most use of big brake kits... (yeah, i'm planning power upgrades and i haven't even got my current one finished yet)
  2. I have bits of one of them on my black car speaking of which, hopefully I can move,it on next week, which leads on to certain things...
  3. Work and planning...
  4. So... almost all iron we mine in the world now was formed by bacteria in shallow water releasing air and causing iron to dissolve out and settle on the seabed very very slowly over millions and millions of years. Same sort of deal for oil and coal. I feel insignificant Yet very lucky.
  5. Been seeing ads for his Toowoomba show out here this week
  6. The rims would be worth half the asking price. That being said, I'd buy it and strip it, and use the money to fund a project car, but I don't have space.
  7. No time for beer! have to finish work at 6, hit the gym, have a shower, have dinner and then it'll be to close to my bed time to bother!
  8. I'd also say golf drivers are a bit different too
  9. Probably means he gets the big beans... Err I mean bucks
  10. We're going to meet ours today, good times!
  11. Give ya 1 buck, a goldfish bowl, broken dreamcast controller, 5 GPS units and a mountain bike inner tube for em.
  12. Still a decent sized job though
  13. yeah, I meant 33 vs 34, same rotor size, different caliper mounts, same pads.
  14. Yeah, money isn't really an issue at the moment, it's just a matter of time saving it. Car isn't going to be tracked seriously though, so I doubt that i'd get value out of a big brake kit. Get the impression that the R34ones are a little overpriced (cause R34, cause brembo), the 33 ones look like the ticket. Edit: they're the same size anyway, didn't realise that. edit edit: reading over old threads. 355mm rotor and caliper kit, 2006, $10000 bucks.
  15. Mmm, much monies.... Shall have to get saving!
  16. Wish my car came with brembos Will have to get a set of bigger brakes sometime this year. Unsure of direction to go. Kit out of china, Brembo's off of r34, Evo Brembos... lots of choices.
  17. We have 70% of the work done this month and 85% of the month is done. Good times.
  18. What's wrong with water?
  19. Shouldn't be to hard, black plastic tube, black hose and an adaptor and bolt it up to the airbox
  20. mmm... 400 killer wasps perhaps?
  21. Didn't know that, have not been there apart from dyno day (where i was sick as a dog) since ERD closed down. As far as the ECU goes, i'm talking about changing injector sizes and AFM's. Its a case of putting old and new CC and it scales the map, and selecting Z32 from a drop down list. Not actually messing with any of the ignition/fuel maps etc.
  22. Located in Wishart Mike. Fuel injectors haven't arrived, and i'm about to go back to site, so the 6th of march is The day that they and the AFM's are going in, I get back on the 5th and car is booked in on the 7th. Shouldn't be to hard to knock over in the day though. The software seems fine in Trial mode, it isn't cut down at all, just limited to 10 minutes per use. If I could borrow a cord though, that'd save 100 bucks...
  23. I didn't' think EFI did anything mechanical though?
  24. Latest musing on my car related shenanigans: Buy consult cable, (this would work, right?) install free Nistune trial software, adjust injector CC and AFM to match, drive car to EFI ????? Profit Sound like a plan?
