  1. That's the point though: if they are going to follow you in to Maccas, they are going to follow you as long as they can to get you for some dicky speeding or traffic infringement and even if you do nothing wrong, I'll bet they will still pull you over to give the car the once over.
  2. And had, what, a tenth of the strength LW.
  3. Next time you have the police following you, just pull in to the next servo or McDonalds/whatever. Either it will force them to do something or they will piss off. It can be a bit of a hassle but I'd rather waste 2 minutes than have to drive with 1 and 1/2 eyes on the speedo.
  4. You do understand that your point makes absolutely no sense? A V-configuration is inferior to a straight configuration: a V is a compromise to try and improve packaging options. The main reason for "more potential" is in fact the much greater displacement and newer tech. Lucien.
  5. No*. Busky2k probably meant the GT2860 (707160-5). * ATP Turbos offers a customised GT28RS with the right flange/exhaust housing: http://www.atpturbo.com/
  6. Covered a number of times http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...90&b=1&st=&p= Lucien.

  8. You might find this thread useful: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=80624&hl=2860 Lucien.
  9. Aside from the legalities and possible issues with stalling, you can run an atmosphere venting BOV venting on the stock setup.
  10. Hi Christian, You may well be aware of this but I thought I would mention it anyway as others might find it useful. I've been having a bit of a fiddle trying to get SAU forum links in posts before the switch to work. vB uses a syntax like so: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/showthread.php?t= Invision uses a syntax like so: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic= So if I wanted to follow a link for the old forum like this one: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=39145 I would just change it to: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=39145. I would suggest running a SQL query to just replace all old vB references using the new syntax. Unfortunately I haven't worked out how to get links to individual posts working yet. vB uses a syntax that only includes the post number, like so: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/showthread.php?p=<postid> Invision seems to use a syntax that calls the thread number and then the post number, like so: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=<topicid>&p=<postid>entry<postid> Since you can't get the topic ID from the vB URL I can't see an easy fix. Cheers Lucien.
  11. Wow, that is cheap. Was that brand new, or via Yahoo? LW.
  12. Its not that the Vileside (whoops, bad habit ) teardrop exhausts aren't 'known', its that most of use aren't made of out gold. Even titanium exhausts from the less exclusive Japanese manufactures like Trust are expensive let alone those from companies like Vileside, Amuse, Fujitsubo or god forbid ARC. Its a shame Rezz didn't continue his little commercial venture as he had access to some of the second tier companies that made titanium exhausts.
  13. I noticed another possible issue with the hover: it includes images. Is this desired behaviour? Can be rather disconcerting to suddenly have huge images take up nearly your entire screen (as per below): By the way, are attachments meant to display in the post preview ? Lucien.
  14. They've come down in price a lot: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=82023 LW.
  15. Anton from JAD knows me (well, he might remember me), so its wouldn't work to well without me signing up for some annonymous email account which I CBF'ed doing
  16. jake32: another JAD special. I almost half feel like emailing JAD for a price estimate to see how big a slice they are getting.
  17. SK: what aftermarket plenums did you test (for interest sake)?

  20. No, you are only meant to see your own.
  21. Someone work out exactly what lengths are needed and setup a group buy Lucien.
  22. In Geoff's defence, I don't know how thoroughly he checks what gets sent out to the lists. I imagine a lot of the process of adding stock to his website from constant supplier like JAD is fairly automated. Here's another suspicious car (well, IMHO): http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=3318 Lucien.
  23. Looks good on the IPB default theme. Still too small on the converted theme IMHO.
  24. Weird. I had it, changed it, and now the option has disappeared
