  1. Hi i am rebuilding my engine its an rb25 std bore and motor has done 110,000kms and there appears to be little if no wear in the bore i am purchasing a set of CP Pistons and a set of Manley Connecting Rods with arp rod bolts for the rebuild and a set of cometic gaskets. I havnt built a nissan rb 6 cyl engine before is there anything i should be aware of rebuilding it with forged internals as i want to do it once only When replacing pistons is it recomended to have engine block rebored with oversize pistons or use std size forged pistons any info would be great i dont want the engine for high horsepower but i want a bit of overkill for the mods i have and the couple i want currently have 430hp hi flowed nissan turbo hybrid fmic a gtr style intake manifold s/steel exhaust manifold low mount 3 inch turbo back exhaust with 3 inch cat and piggy back ecu on to main ecu thanks for reading this post Sam....

  10. Hi i am about to install a Emanage Gold into my 1995 R33 Skyline series 2 and i have read through several articals that it might fry my coils.I have just installed splitfires and i would not like to kill them so soon as they are not cheap. any info would help Sam.........
  11. Hi i have a r33 1995 s2 skyline and i keep getting an error code 34 knock sensor i have reset the cpu several times and cleared the error codes but when i take it for a drive for a few kms and return home. When i connect the laptop and check error code 34 is showing its ugly head again. The car is not running like it should "low power" and is using heaps of fuel. My question is could this be a faulty knock sensor if so how does someone test it for being defective. Any info would be helpfull thanks Sam...........

  17. Try a metal fabrication shop but note!!! if you weld or modify your existing x-member you will need an engineers report/certificate for rego and insurance I had to get my old VK holden commodore engineered after i installed a Skyline engine and gearbox into it i was told if i had not cut or welded it the x-memberi would have not needed the engineers certificate. I dont know what you are modifying but i would try to find a x-member from another car and fit it if possible cutting and modifying is a pain with the extra things you have to do.

  21. Hi i have a 1995 r-33 gtst skyline i have just installed aftermarket coilover shocks with ride hight ajustment the front coil overs are Kei Office with Bestex springs they bear part no 66-178-150 when i look online the specs are spring constant 147 n/mmacceptable load 10300 nacceptable tawami 70mmthey are 175mm free length65mm inside diameter 14mm spring metal thickness Could someone suggest some springs that i could use with these shocks as the Bestex spings are way too hard. I have been told that the japanese allways run very ridgid suspension as there roads are much better not like the goat tracks i have to drive on sth coast N.S.W. P.S. I had standard shocks and king springs before part no KDFL-101SL but were to low and kept scraping the inner guards with 18inch wheels this is why i have tried the aftermarket ones with height ajustment thanks Sam........... Any info would be greatly apprecieted as i dont think my body can handle another 400km run

  23. Hi name is Sam im new to the forum thingy so should have introduced myself before posting anything please excuse any stuff ups i make untill i get the hang of it. I have just bought myself a 1995 R33 Skyline it is my first turbo car. The only mods i have done was to install ajustable suspension and keep it clean. Compared to my old monaro which used to run 11.98 sec over a quarter this new Skyline is a missile. Great forum lots of interesting topics keep up the good work. Sam..........
