  2. ah bugger, ok.
  3. it does, thanks, i thought the term 'semi slick' was synonymous with r-comp tyres.
  4. is there a 2010 calendar in the works? lasts years was great.
  5. 595rs and rs-r and not semis, just sticky road tyres. ya not sure about stretching 40's that much. federal do a r17 235x45 tho.
  6. gtr or evo...do you have a brother? pick one and make sure he buys the other. simple...

  8. errrr, double thread. lol just saw the other one
  9. there is a white F6 that gets around with a guy in a s15 at hsvoc and ffcc days ( sandown ). iirc he runs semi's (888's maybe), intercooler, more boost, exhaust and a re-tune, over 300rwkw. apparently. there wernt any stock r's there on either days, but he is no where near the track preped cars. and you wouldnt expect so either. he smoked me tho down the straights, far too much power. but it was a bit bargy around the corners.
  10. ha very nice, wrx track day sticker on the window as well. what about the rad and intercooler intake? is there some ducting there?
  11. ive got r33 gtst adjustables. got em mid 2009, they fit nicely. no worries.
  12. is an r34 gtt really going to cost more in maint? oil, oil filter, fuel filter and brake pads. would be the same? tyres. same? fuel econ. same? or is the r34 a little better? r34 will need a 100k service and maybe gearbox and diff oil. but the ford is going to need a mid service in there somewhere, 30-40k? just to make your choice harder, r33 gtst with nice mods and a small efficient daily. imo ford or r34, after 3 years of daily it will end up very tired at the end of it.
  13. JAGR33 is there an insert in the front intake, or is it painted? it looks like the sun it behind the car is most of the pics, but still the intake is sooo dark. it looks fantastic.
  14. lol i noticed that after i posted it, google thumb nails failed me and of course the forums lock you so you cant change it after a while... it kinda looks like a s1 33 at 100x100, maybe.... thus the post above with the shit stirring. either way the s1 s14 front end isnt as nice as the s14a. damn i posted that in 2009 as well no post of the year for 2010 for me, bugger.
  15. legend. thanks. jumped on the fulcrum web page, it didnt list the part. consulted google and found the parts page. and there it is 0.5+- upper-inner bush. sweet
  16. single set on the outside upper arm. not sure if you can run another on the inner arm, the bush is pretty thin.
  17. heaea, i was just shit stirring. i like sI front end, tho prefer the sII front end. bugger about the roo, hope it not too much on the wallet. if i remember correctly the sI seat fabric came straight out of a 70's strip club. that could be a good point? hrm...
  18. yeh the federals wore the shoulders away, like you say, not enough camber. im looking for some front camber arms. its just the single piece arms cost an arm and a leg.
  19. ah bugger, know i missed something. same on the federals and kumho. front height = way too low, would be 20mm lower then the 350mm at least, but want the camber toe = 1-2mm out camber = -2 deg ( the most i can get from pedders bush, would love to run more ) castor = unknown rear height = way too low, would be 20mm lower then the 350mm at least, have to keep the balance good with the front toe = level camber = -1.5 deg
  20. ya will keep this updated. this was there first run, so they would be a little 'waxy' i think. i ran the federals at 38hot, same with the kumho. trying to keep the sidewall up around the corners.
  21. just changed to a set of ku36. before r17 235x45 on 17x8's federal 595rs, from brand new ( ~$250/corner ) r33 standard turbo & pfc, 180rwkw warm day ~25'ish winton short 1.10.69 5 3 John Richardson John Richardson Nissan Skyline 2500 C 8 2 1:10.6900 0:01.6600 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../09/2009.WIN.S3 now r17 235x45 on 17x8's kumho ku36, from brand new ( ~$180/corner ) r33 hypergear highflow & pfc, 215rwkw hot day 30'ish more cars and hot day compared to the CSA day, so that track would be HOT. winton short 1.11.06 10 33 Skylines Australia Vic John Richardson Nissan Skyline R33 2500 D 25 15 1:11.0590 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../12/2009.WIN.S1 notes: federal when new have good rear lateral grip, little bit of movement on turn in and mid corner but nothing major. as the tyres wore this reduced and the car started to push. tyres were rotated very often. federal had great grip on the front in breaking and turn in, bust lost a little and generally pushed in the corner as they wore. as the tyre wore they started to squeal heaps. as the tyres wore they lost some feeling the in rear and while sliding would bite hard wen you didnt expect. in the rain...totally awsome. grip under breaking, mid corner. not as much while on the gas though. the tyres would last 3-4 hot laps, then start to side around a little. they are down below the markers now. kumho, ive only run once at winton short. it was fun...the ass was out all the time. um, lateral cornering grip was less than the federal. braking was great, better than the worn federals. but on turn in the rear was walking all over the place, was a nice change from the understear of the worn federals. no understear to speak of, the front didnt push at all. the federals would vibrate like crazy while pushing, non of that from the kumho. the kumho heat up real quick and fade off real quick. i could really feel em moving around compared to the federal ( maybe due to the tyre pattern on the kumho, the federal is more like a yoko pattern). this was more of a fun day than the CSA day. and i had been in understear land for a long time with the federals, so sliding around the corners was too much fun. more updates to come on the kumho's. but for performance vs cost, they look to be just a little ahead of the federal atm. the wear will be a big comparison...
  22. i got mine from auto'b as well. they even have electirc blue..... the large sheet is 35-40$, does the whole bar and brake ducts.
  23. ya i didnt compile it with sound ( not on purpose ) . it took 1'ish hours to compile on the notebook, so haven't been bothered to do it again. plus the transition and some of the cut footage didnt render in smoothly, not really sure why. stupid premiere.
  24. if its been off before it will be easy, just undo the nuts. ( that is if it hasnt been glued down ) if it hasnt been off, total bitch of a job. undo the nuts and pull. its impossible it get the clips off. that is wat i assumed anyway.
  25. i take it the circuit is more of a khana style event?
