well a year in review these are all the...fun..moments captured during the year

ya its a biatch to get back on. you have to skin up your hands, swear and drink some booze. it will go on. i had to 'mold' the existing water lines so they would almost line up. then fiddle with the bango bolts to get them in. on bango closest to the engine was a total biatch. didnt think i was going to get that one, but i did eventually. loosen the water lines at the other end if you can, on the 33 there is one you cant really get to. but there is a clip that you can take off and it makes it much easier. i only had the top two bolts in on the mani while working as well.

there is a minimum rotor thickens to achieve road worthlessness (ie if you get pulled over by the popo and there is a huge lip, you are in shit). there shouldnt be a lip. wearing the rotor down, it will brake like shit as well. iirc r33 is like 26-28mm thick. and irrc you can fix the sequel with copper gasket paint. the price sounds about right. TRW pads 70$ an axle set (ABS sell these, they are a good road/track pad) RDA rotors $200-250 per axle set (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rda-Rotors-and-Ebc-Pads-Gro-t282829.html&st=180&start=180) brake fluid $50 (they would use TRW stuff) 3-5 hours to install the lot and change the fluid $500 you can do all this yourself if you have a couple of tools.

ya me to. mani to turbo is the bet. tighten up the bolts on the mani to turbo. also check the gasket, make sure it all still there. some of the gasket may have blown away. tho looking at the above, you will have replaced the gasket when you put the turbo bak in...? same with the dump end? boost leak? have you tested the it like this? http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=mighty.../13/atretf9u-Mc

the clutch fan should be pretty 'stiff'. if you spin it by hand (while the car is off ) it should stop pretty quick. if it doesnt stop quickly, the fluid in the fan is most likely gone. so wen the prop spins the fan doesnt spin with it all the time. so it could be moving, but not fast enough. also the radiator could be clogged. it will flow, but not fast enough. i went through this just a little while ago. swapped the fan over as its was pretty much free spinning, then found the radiator channels to be blocked, to the point where there was about 2-3mm for the water to flow. also with the new turbo, the water lines? used the standard lines? the bango bolt pin hole could be blocked a little?

from your sig, you have a series 2. so they will need to cut part of the metal reo bar out (this is the support for the front bar). then if you still have the standard front bar, they will need to cut away some of the plastic so the cooler fits. no big deal, easy to do (have done it twice now). as said, make sure you ask for a turn flow cooler. this means they wont have to cut through the engine bay. which the popo dont like you doing. like this. intercooler will do a couple of things for you, but basically it will keep the compressed air cooler and denser. making more bang wen it gets mixed with the fuel in engine. if you dont want/can it yourself. buy one of these http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=339&page=1 and get the guys to fit it for you.
