ya i've jumped from 14k over Newcastle. great fun. one of the guys at work has done the first part of the solo course at bridgewater. goto love the 'warning' sign on the back of the pack....
  2. ya that is old footage.
  3. sure is, but damn its fun on the track.
  4. thank you sponsors
  5. sounds like fun. leave it as is. you will get around the basketball court on the back track easy
  6. citysoft have pinnacle for 50$ atm. i use a bundled version of ulead that came with a camera for quick work, then premier to cut video together.
  7. nice footage. ya i got sunburn...
  8. ya as always too much fun. your last run was epic, well done. click me click me
  9. when your driving on the road and even through the twisties you cant "really" feel the car. when your on the track it feels like your ass is attached to the chassis. its a good feeling
  10. ive run 3-4 sets of A1RM through my dba4000's and previously 2-3 through the rda fronts (went up a size, thus the dba now). there is no wear on the rotors yet. similarly, the rear have had 3-4 sets of A1RM and many sets of lucas. no lip yet.
  11. ya i know, that is why its funny.
  12. lol small lancer, clive that is gold.
  13. Juliette did a little how to a while back. may have been in the wrx sandown thread from april last year'ish
  14. http://eziautoparts.com.au/pdf/TRW_Pad_Catalogue.pdf i have no idea what car those pads are for...maybe the n/a skylines?
  15. put the getz on the rollers?
  16. 1170 on the fronts and 1220 on the rear. that is what i use anyway.
  17. I'll be there in a silver 33. watch out for the mx5 doing 1.50's as well!
  18. signed and paid
  19. i hit sandown for the first time on ku's the other day. times wernt too bad. the tyres seem to be getter better, 3-4 track days in they are much better than the first couple, i have turn in grip now, ya. still feel em moving around after a couple of laps tho. which the 595rs dont. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ty...50#entry5065250
  20. edit: also the 595rs had less power and torque than i have now. difference is 25-35rwkw and 100Nm. sandown is a power track, so the extra power and torque would have helped. thus the difference to the winton time. 1.39 vs 1.41
  21. saw three KR4 silver r33 gtst at sandown on sunday, including mine. was kinda strange when we were all on the track, add in a silver r33 gtr. that is four silver 33's following each other around the track. to make it even more strange throw a yellow megane cup into the mix as we caught up to him.
  22. just an update hit sandown for the first time on ku36. had been on 595RS in the past. so the 595RS on a coolish day the weekend after the v8 supertaxi's were there 1.27.8 so yesterday it was 35+ deg, the car has more camber on the front, 324mm rotors and rear subframe bushes. 1.28.3 I have to say i was impressed. the grip lasted 2-3 laps, which wasnt as long as the 595RS in the cold weather. but they did a good job
  23. ya it is, but you will miss HH with all us other skylines. as wrx days double as sau:vic champ days.
  24. piarc.com.au are doing PI on the 14th, day after wrx HH. fits in nice hsvoc are doing sandown on the 7th, alfa are doing winton short on the same day.
  25. DECA is the noobie event. dont talk about it, just do it! watch those last minute pull outs.. there is normally a met at the servo 1.5 hours out from DECA. so you dont even need to know where you are going, just tag along in the group.
