  1. Brendan probably seen all the 'pressed ham' he ever needs to see LOL T.
  2. I never pay more than ~$400. It does depend on your age, age of your car and where you live. T.
  3. What can these cars possibly be defected for? I might drive my bone stock Mercedes over there and see what they can defect me for :-/ T.
  4. I am after a z32 afm. Anyone got an idea how much this would cost and what it does for a PowerFC controlled car? T.
  5. Oh yeah, apparently some compliancers use silicon or some sealer that is eventually eaten away by petrol to install the fuel filler neck. Get this looked at. T.
  6. I think everyone knows that imports have their clocks wound back. I would be hard pressed to believe that my '95 has a mere 70,000 on the clock. However looking at the ads online and the attitude of the dealers I've been too, I wonder if they think we are all stupid. Who would believe a 1991 Soarer with 32,000? Or a '94 GTS-t with 44,000? Or a '91 GT-R with 57,000? And the salesman told me they were ridgey didge checked out by their Japanese contact T.
  7. My car never smells of petrol. And this is 3rd '95 in the thread (!!!) My car has *some* mods but not as much as Brendan's. T.
  8. I *might* be pursuaded to come to this run. Some people need to bum a lift? T.
  9. 60 litres. 250-300km is bad. 20+litres/100km. Should be more like 400-500 given reasonable mods. T.
  10. Ok. I'm pretty sure Nismo do not make a 400r original bar for any Skyline bar a real 400r. So all are copies. You can use $320 a pair GT-R lights or $10 a pair K-Mart trailer lights. T.
  11. You should've been at Croydon AS the next day. We're talking 200-230kW Silvias... and a 250kW EVO + Andrew's 280kW Skyline which was the "king of the day". T.
  12. I got a stamped service manual + owners manual + a few rego stickers on my windscreen. T.
  13. Yeah but my car is a constant battle between JVC/Alpine and the Kakimoto. I doubt spending $1,200 on a deck is that wise an investment on a loud 33... T.
  14. I've had the SDU PDF book for quite a while and it has been a useful reference up and as far as it's more a "32" reference than a 33 or 34 tome. Do we have the capability to come up with a Australian based guide to the Skyline? Here's the SDU book for reference: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/skyline_book.pdf T.
  15. s2000 has 174kW from memory. Lot less torque of course which the 33 has tons of which is where it gets all it's get up and go from. The s2000 is all about balance but I'm sure if you can afford the $80,000+ asking price of a s2000, a true Skyline fan would be after a 33 or 34 GT-R. T.
  16. Well there was a thread a while back about cars that you've 0wn3d at the traffic lights and it not like Skyline owners do not partake in such activities. It does 6.2 in stock form. You can be sure there are many many many Skylines here that'll do 5 seconds without much problem. So take them down if they are worthy contenders. What's the harm? It's not like the cops are likely to bust you. T.
  17. No way no how. A well sorted "33" can take down a BMW M3... The "33" is getting a reputation as the traffic light drag king! T.
  18. I hope this Sunday is not gonna be taped T.
  19. Hmmm... Silverwater you say. I work at Silverwater T.
  20. Is it just me or does anyone else not like these wheels? For some reason they don't sit well with me: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33_front.jpg T.
  21. Do you install quicktrak? If you don't, I find it heartening that you would recommened the competition... T.
  22. GT-R r33 rims 17x9. T.
