  1. Each to their own I guess, but let me take a minute to digest your logic. 1) You want a kit made O/S by a forum member which in essence is a custom non-proprietry kit as it's not made by Stillen, HKS or Greddy!!!!!!! 2) The kit from the US is 8awg not 4awg as offered by the local "pro". ( btw 4awg is bigger than 8awg if you were wondering ). 3) The US kit has primarily 2 grounds but lots of runs of cable grounding "nothing", just piggybacking around the block. Look carefully at the pics of the US kit and compare to those on the FHRX site. To successfully ground the Alt/Batt/Starter etc they need to run directly to a grounding point on the chassis to be completely effective. With the FHRX kit each run is connected directly to ground. I just can't visualise the US kit being as good or better than what Marty or any other proffesional Car Audio installer could do for you at the same price point. just my 2c !!!!
  2. I'm not sure but keep in mind 1) it would be cheaper than what I quoted above IF you decide to have only 2-3 cable grounds as per the US kit. 2) It would be cheaper again if you do the GB thru' Marty (well you'd think so) 2) If Someone living in Sydney can have it installed by Marty they can take pix of the installation and post em up for all.

  4. Well if you want colour choice AND more than just the basic grounding kit of 2 cables, then as I suggested before, contact Marty at FHRX. He's been making grounding kits for years and they usually come with a minimum of 6 cables. He also uses Stinger which is some of the best automotive cable available. This is the kit I purchased for my Calais some moons ago, here is his correspondance when purchased this kit for $215AUD delivered.
  5. Guys guys guys, contact Marty at FHRX in Sydney, he does grounding kits and I would imagine atleast the 350z would be in his list. http://www.fastfoursforumscarclub.com/temp...os/aboutus.aspX He uses Stinger cable and quality hardware too.
  6. Ditto and yet my daughter is 14 and I can't help but notice some similarity...............scary.
  7. God she doesn't look a day over 14. Promiscuity is starting much younger these days
  8. Unfortunately Stu no I didn't. Only found out about him tonite So I'm getting him to price the suspension components, but wheels would have been a good option too. Purchasing from Nengun may still be an expensive option for GT32, compared to local atleast.
  9. Doubt it, no-one could beat the price I got for the wheels I ordered. It may be a different outcome for older or run-out models tho but worth the exersize to check.
  10. Why not get them from the OZ outlet via Performalink? http://www.rayswheels.co.nz/ I've purchased my WORK wheels thru the same mob. long wait but it'll be worth it.
  11. I'm tempted but as this is for a 350Z I'd need to know the availability of the adapter kit for the skyline and whether or not the zorst is going to be a direct bolt on.
  12. yeah just make sure you get them back from the compliance shop too Who's importing it for you?
  13. Have you considered Megan racing coilovers. They are made by BC and can be purchased for a lot less than BC branded items.
  14. Although the O6 Projector lights and 20" Work SC2 wheels obviously sweetened the deal, They are not standard on this model so I hope they're not picked as non-compliant. May pay to do some "ringing" just to make sure.
  15. Actually I like the design & thinking behind the jim wolf kit which makes use of the stock front bar air ducts. Oops sorry getting OT
  16. Mark are you aware that a forum sponsor on G35Driver is offering the APS kit with free APS zorst. http://g35driver.com/forums/engine-fs-vdr/...al-exhaust.html
  17. That's called a fart............... but seriously as spit said, it's more a knocking than a rattle. Sounds like the tappet noise you get in an old holden. It has been attrributed to the flywheel on Gdriver forums as well which makes sense given mine does not go away, hot or cold.
  18. Oh forgot to mention.......... I saw a Silver coupe on Shepperton Road late last week on the way home from work. Went past him while he was sitting in the filter lane to turn right opposite Skippers. Gave him the "thumbs up" out the window but not sure if he/she saw it. Lic plate was agga or somethin' like that
  19. 1. Mine has an annoying drivetrain ticking, actually it's more like a tocking. It's there clutch in or out but only at idle. It can only be heard in the cabin, outside it's inaudible. Is this the infamous flywheel chatter? 2. The clutch travel has a notch about half way up. Feels like the sticky travel you would get from an old freyed clutch cable.(which these don't have)
  20. Spotted a new white R35 turning off barrack street onto the Freeway. i was sitting at the opposite lights as he turned in front & pulled away. Gotta say I felt a little underwhelmed at the exhaust "note".
  21. Did you ever have problems with your VDC? I may be wrong but it appears your rear tyres are 4.4% out on aspect ratio going by the stock rears as 245.45.18 going by the calc maybe they should be 275.35.19 http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  22. 2003 V35 coupe, brembo BBK. #15 Fronts & Rears thanks.
  23. Thanks m8, took a year to find one over here that suited what I wanted. Price wise $28k is more realistic and more than likely what most will find the norm soon.
  24. What you don't get the joke? Turntables are not technically instruments.................... but then I'm old school and cut my teeth on 6 strings playing Rock & Roll. As a 25yr "veteran" I'm retired and most of my gear now gathers dust.
