  4. ha ha im actualy very surprised how well i placed in this DECA. my multiple spins, handbrakes and lack of tracktion from the cheap rubber and its still the best I placed at DECA ever LOL
  5. I've had a second hand set of Conti SportsContact2s on the fronts for DECA and I was very happy with the way they performed. If they were that good second hand, i'd like to see how they'd handle like when new. I had the least understeer with these tires this DECA then any previous DECA i ran with different tires.
  6. I take it that thats a compliment
  7. i wanted to go, but DECA and Drift Prac on the same weekend was gona be a very expensive and exhausting weekend

  11. i've noticed that the event schedule says "Long Wang - Clockwise - 1st Run" but the diagram lower down with the details of the backtrack events shows the Long wang as "Event 5, 7 & 9 Long Wang - Anti-clockwise" I'm guessing its going to be run by the diagram, anti-clockwise

    Roof Leaks

    oops, stupid double post

    Roof Leaks

I was actually talking to a builder today about the freak storm I asked him if there were any problems with any of the houses during the storm He said that only 1 house had a roof leak and that was only due to the rain being very slanted with high winds forcing the water under the roof tiles and into the roof. How old is the house in question? coz if it has previously withstood heavy rain without any problems, the leak may just be caused by the issue the builder mentioned to me.
  14. They have built the Geelong bypass So now you can go to Great Ocean Rd without having to waste time being stuck in Geelong traffic The freeway splits before Geelong with a turnoff to the old route labeled "Geelong" and the bypass is labeled "to Great Ocean Rd"
  15. ^^^ i transferred money earlier this afternoon, got paid yesterday according to netbank, you should have it in a couple of business days
  16. i can't answer your hydro handbrake question, but i don't think the drum handbrake is too bad just adjust it down at the drum to be really tigh and then get some Mu Project Handbrake shoes the handbrake shoes have a really high friction coefficient for better locking and are designed for drifting in mind
  17. Could this be the drift track with skidpan not far out of the city which is supposed to be finished in a year or two?
  18. i think rocklee is also missing the point that the video was not uploaded by the owner of the car in fact it was uploaded at about the same time Ch9 bought Top Gear rights The TG disclaimer for the stig applications also said that the drivers identity will not be released Now, obviously there is something going on here... If the government used the revenue from "hoon" laws to build race tracks/facilities and offset the running costs instead of using it for god knows what, then we'd all have somewhere to go to and use cars legally. If you can honestly say that there are plenty of tracks in vic and they are all easily accessible, then you have must have your head so far up your ass its affecting your vision.
  19. i usually fill up with BP at Wallan outbound as its usually our meet sport for the drive up This lasts me for the drive up, giving it stick at DECA and the drive back and i'd usualy top up the tank at the Wallan BP inbound there is also a petrol station(i think its Mobil) in Shep right before the DECA turn off
  20. Forms emailed Can't wait for this p.s. will send the payment through soon too
  21. i give up on the government how many people have died from a burnout, a doughnut or some skids in an industrial area? i bet the number wouldn't even make 1% of people who died cause of drink driving the media needs to go and f*k themselves, always put a hoon spin on a totally unrelated story

    Teh Heat.

when the weather is in the 30ies my temps hover around 94-96 with air con going
  23. i need my guards rolled too, i've been slowly chewing through the sidewall of my KU36s i should probably give Dan a call, but i've been lazy
  24. check the subframe for damage as well, its pretty common to see imports with bent arm mounting points on the subframe
  25. as you mentioned yourself the E36 is $20k less then a E46 so that means you could possibly spend more money modding a E36 but i guess its whichever you will be more comfortable living with, if its going to be a DD
