  1. I loved the starting flag. He just casualy walked off the grid, then jumped in the air and started them
  2. cheeeeeeap blow an engine... trip to the wrecker and $500, blow a box.... trip to the wrecker and $500. You'll never blow a diff or drive shafts.
  3. it was a 3l cossie job wasn't it? the bloke running round telling everyone it 1100kg is renowned for making stuff up
  4. Was your car really 1100kg? someone said they saw it on my105
  5. pretty sure broadbend could have bought 2or 3 gt3's with the money he's spent developing his rsr. I was watching a early 2000 doco back when it was full rsr width. It's changed a bit since then.
  6. Sponsers are all local, but it was only shown at 11 on a friday night. Also a good closeup shot of us launching in the wet at rinideena. Last year it was broadcast on OneHD, dunno if it happening again this year.
  7. I'm planning on running the 32 again next year. It'll be dependent on funds, the sponsers seemed to be keen to pay again though.
  8. I was thinking the B6 3.5. Fits into the date range ALPINA Engine B10/2: Cylinder 6 Capacity cm³ 3430 Max output kW/hp 192 / 261 Max torque Nm 346 Performance: Acceleration 0-100km/h s 6.4 Top speed km/h 250 Fuel consumption: at 90km/h l/100km 8.3 at 120km/h l/100km 9.8 Urban l/100km 15.7 I've had a bit to do with local Escort guys that have run, and crewed in Targa. And they sound like a nightmare, your always fixing things on them (start motors, and altenators constantly fall appart from vibrations). Also if you run an escort you need patches on your sleeves
  9. The E30 Alpina and 325i now fit into classic with the new data range....M3 doesn't though
  10. What about a E30 325i or Alpina? There was a Alpina in EM 2010, and he was pretty close to the top 10 for most of the event. http://www.bmwalpina.co.uk/ww/models-uk/historic-models/bmw-3-series/e30.html
  11. Do thay have a rear end of death like the E21 3 series? Graham Pitt has a E21 with and awsome engine note, and he's crashed it a lot because the rear end is unpredictiable, most of the time they will slide, but occasionly they grip and throw you into the bushes. The car has been driven by somone who can drive, and he confermed it was not a good thing to drive without extensive changes to the rear end...which they did, and it hasn't crashed since.
  12. or a r33/34 diff cover
  13. lol tourism at triabunna, that's not going to happen.

  14. And only a single paper tray
  15. I hear the new hot princess is already looking for an out.
  16. If your scared of bending it you won't be fast, or you'll bend it.
  17. It's never over till the fat lady sings. But i'm thinking it will be more like when Loab broke his arm mountain biking, and still one the championship, and less like when Shu broke his leg a lost it.
  18. 787 is an exeption , but somehow i doubt we'll see one anytime soon in a tarmac rally event.
  19. Horay things are looking up http://www.examiner.com.au/news/local/news/general/deal-close-on-v8-supercar-round-state-makes-v8s-offer/2223031.aspx?storypage=0
