  1. Best bet is to go and sit in a heap of seats. Then look online for a bargin. As it all depends on your shape/size to what suites you best.
  2. it's about parralel with the tank, so there is probably more chance of the 73l plastic tank splitting, than a 1.5l alloy tank. Main reason I did it was I wanted it behind the axel, and that was just the neatest/easiest place to put it.
  3. Race Radiators in Vic are making me a shorter cross flow radiator. When I was at superlap I took a tonne of pics of the GIO airbox, and pretty much copied it The Fuel system is now together.

  6. heatwrap the manifold, and put a bag on the turbo. It's the only way to stop the kind of heat that's being generated under there.
  7. I've put a R33 pump and bracket on Also plummed up the surge tank last night. Push lock hose is awsome, so easy to work with, and relitivly cheap.
  8. I've also used HT-10's for years in Targa, and at Symmons Plains. I find them to be very consistant, and last right down to the backing plate (unlike the Pagid RS14 which starts to fall appart as it gets low). I'd be interested to compare the DTC-60's though

  10. well the 400r is probably out, as they are re-released tunere cars. I think Nismo is classed as Nissan, as your allowed to use the Nismo catalouge from the cars eara as option parts. But R32 - R33's N1's are safe, there was over 200 made of each of them.
  11. I think YT's super alfabet is more legit than the type-r, cause if you type in into google you get heaps of info on them, type r is just a Aus paper model. I don't see why the Z-Tune and 400R would be out, I thought there would have been enough of them made. Nissan need to put a factory team together to take on the mazdabaters in showroom.
  12. I got a heap of speedflow fittings for the surgetank setup. I'm putting bulkhead connectors in the floor or the boot, will make it neat, and i won't have to worry about hoses rubbing on the hole in the floor I'll get some hose tomorrow now i know the lengths, and then the setup will be done

  16. I've put a billit one in mine, but havn't got to use it yet... mainly cause it came in the box of bits in the car. But all the people I spoke to who have used them said it improves the wheel feel. The old one usually ends up flying accross the work shop when you go to remove it
  17. I got some more work done on the weekend I cut the airbox out, and bent it up ready to weld. I installed the Aero catches. They are are pain in the arse to install, but it's worth it when there in. Also installed the belts, and finished suiding the interior
  18. For the lipstick radcam lense. Probably best to get one, then evaluate if the main hoop is too far back
  19. How well do the steel flexi-mounts work with the forces of the car? My amin hoop is pretty far back, and I want to get the cam feather forward.
  20. But it only reads to 1.5 bar of boost, as it's 2.5 total range (full vacume to full boost)

  23. With the Radcam's, how well to they handle the 12v signal from the car, do they suffer much interferience from it? Also if you have two camers, can you use one remote to start and stop the recording on both of them?
