  1. I like Del Amitri and (which has banjos) and my sister is a lovely person; we get along fine. What would they think of me?
  2. +1! Support the community that supports you!
  3. I'd imagine they're going down the "part is being damaged by a fault on the vehicle" if the one on the car fails, then the replacement fails, they'd be arguing that an issue on the car is making the component fail.
  4. I didn't have 20% tint on the windows for no reason, that's for sure. Apologies for thread derailment, we return to your usual program.
  5. Yeah, it was pretty low in reality, front & rear overhangs are the problem; needed a front lip so badly. Sills are fairly low. Exhaust was really tucked up but still scraped on speed humps. The front looks high in this pic as it had a fresh set of springs that hadn't settled yet.
  6. Lol, I remember your blue wagon very well mate. You might also remember my old Gunmetal grey 610 coupe. Several runs up/down OBR? Only up to the speed limit of course.
  7. Regarding our chat the other day Scotty, apologies for not sending the link. Here is the one that I purchased; Part number on my unit is exactly the same as the one pictured. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/290794600600 As Scotty says, I had a brand new, OEM replacement (new P/N) fail in less than 3 weeks. Hit the key one morning, pop; dead. Super pissed of would be an understatement. The ebay replacement is working fine; and arrived very quickly. Has been in for a bit over 3 months according to my records.
  8. I used to have a metallic brown R31 wagon. You didn't know how dirty is was, until after you'd finished washing it. I <3 brown shitbox.
  9. As others have said, definitely AFM. Mine died exactly the same way as this also.
  10. Best colour for dirt is metallic brown.
  11. I really don't think they do; I know a bunch of guys running cafe racers, & Harleys, let me assure you that they do get noticed. I've had bikes with noisy pipes, and even though they've been ADR legal I've been given a hard time. Hot Rods are also able to have club rego, and this bypasses a bunch of requirements. The fact that they don't get get pinged, is largely related to the amount of usage these types of vehicles get, and also when/where they are used.
  12. Don 't be fooled mate; these guys get hit by the EPA just the same.If he's managed to get an engineering approval for it; as soon as he gets stopped for a stationary noise test; he'll be screwed. They'll go over it with a fine tooth comb, and give him enough defects to put him off the road. It's not about pointing the finger at someone else who's making noise; it's about making sure yours is compliant.
  13. Bahahaha! Keeping white cars clean is difficult. Go buy a black one and tell me about it.
  14. Don't forget to look at the Nitto Invo Pro; killer spec for the price. Those rims will definitely be a slick addition.
  15. I've been looking for somewhere romantic to take Shell for her birthday! Just in time...
  16. Unlikely to go on the front; would almost certainly go on the rear.
  17. I wasn't talking about bodies; bodies implies that they're dead.
  18. Looks Great Matt; V35 18's suit these cars so well. Height looks spot on too.
  19. Great result; especially at all four! It must have torque up the wazoo; sounds like a great thing to drive.
  20. You are very lucky my friend! As a teenager, I had someone attempt to steal the rears off my Triumph 2500s one night, and the first I knew about it was when I was going around a corner, heard a rattle & a thump, and the left rear bounced past the car and flew down into a gully! Mine unfortunately exited from the rear & punched the floor of the boot in. Count yourself lucky, go & get an alignment check and have your mechanic look for anything that is obviously bent, or areas on arms & bodywork underneath where paint is missing, or distressed. Then go and buy a set of lock nuts.
  21. There is a product called Iron-X, and it's designed to deal with exactly what you describe. It actually dissolves minute metal particles (from industrial fallout) that become lodged in your paint.
  22. Seriously; just take the car to a panel shop and TALK to them. If you think it's too expensive; go to another one. Look at the standard of workmanship on the cars they are working on, and their level of interest in your car. An internet quote will be as good as the paper it's written on.
  23. Oh my god, I can't wait to have some of that!
