  1. Because Aluminium bonnets are sooooooo heavy...
  2. I've been using it for a while now, I like it.
  3. That will mean it's fathers day weekend! Stagea owners Muscle Car Masters event?
  4. I think I'd rather have you on the case mate.
  5. Scotty's Customs; at the forefront of Stagea Mods!
  6. I didn't have a very good experience dealing with GCG, I thought it was just me being a low dollar value customer; but a mate had a very poor experience, and he was looking at spending tens of thousands on his $300k show car. Others speak highly of them; but I'm not convinced, and the OP's turbo was incredibly noisy, right from the start, just as Jetwreck said.
  7. I'd be keen on this too!All the dates are a little tricky for me ATM, but I'll be able to make a call a bit closer to the time.
  8. Dead right Terry; I use mine fully open on the big flat panels, but folded on the sides. Great minds eh?
  9. Holy farken crap, that looks fat! Also huge irony regarding brakes being too SMALL to fit under 20"wheels.
  10. Mate, I figure the status quo remains; if Nissan won't warrant them, and they are failing randomly, you shouldn't be expected to anything more. I'd rather have no warranty on a $65 part, than no warranty on a $330 part. At $65; it's a consumable as far as I'm concerned. A bit like oil or a filter.
  11. Put me down for one when you get them Scotty. I'll be keeping one as a spare; that way it'll never fail again.
  12. It looks like a boost solenoid. Follow the hoses and see where they go. Glue the broken barb back on, or find another one.
  13. That thing is huge! 4.2 stroker, GT62, hnnnnnnngggghhhhh!
  14. Same, years ago, my car had paintshop overspray (primer) all down one side; even weeks after; it came straight off with a claybar. Felt like sandpaper before I started.
  15. Mate, I use Bowdens Own microfibre chamois; they make a bunch of different sizes, and the big one is farkin' huge! They glide really smoothly on my paint; no grabing, which means it can't be doing damage. I also have a Black car; and the NM/V series Nissans have notoriously soft paint. I reckon the bigger the better as you have to do less wipes. It's not cheap at $44 but it's more than twice the size of the Meguiars ones. Link; http://www.bowdensown.com.au/super-bloody-huge-chamois
  16. Means you should have an LSD.
  17. You can see the rack; it sits behind the diff, and is attached to the rear lower control arms. It has a motor, & wires coming out. Without; it just has a silver aluminium subframe.
  18. Powdercoating is generally done in the low 200 degree range; so it shouldn't be an issue.
  19. Mark, try a claybar and some super soapy water before the paint fully hardens mate. Good luck.
  20. My move? Ok Mat, but I don't recall needing to have your permission. You are right, Mark did target first; but the only reason you would've bitten back at an insult that clearly wasn't actually directed at an individual, is that you clearly see some truth in it. As for you being the self appointed leader of the V35 forum; Congratulations on your lofty post, exactly when did the vote happen, and who else was a candidate? Your (somewhat delayed) righteous indignation is comical; why would you call someone you've never met; a retard? Seems there's no standard like a double standard. The inference that Mark needed to purchase (see "bought" in your comment, not brought) support would suggest that I don't actually look at subjects in any subforum I please; because that is my want. I'm well aware of the definition of Empirical Evidence, thankyou; your condescending tone towards me is completely unnecessary and unwanted. I was simply pointing out the irony of holding up the webpage of a car importer and an online information source as undeniable proof of your argument. Frankly I still find it completely hilarious that you are saying this. If in fact you ever had to provide Empirical Evidence for anything; I doubt two unsupported sources would actually cut the proverbial mustard. I (and doubtless many others) can use the internet to find any information on any subject, to support any argument; real or imagined at any time I choose. It's not a special skill that you have developed, trust me. To be honest with you Mat, I'm happy to accede to anyone with expertise or knowledge in any area; but when they are as arrogant and unnecessarily insulting as you have been, I'll admit I do tend to climb aboard my horse. As you've so ably demonstrated; a supposed common interest in cars and a club membership is no guarantee of meeting like minded people. And as for your final comment; I believe the question was answered almost a day prior to you swaggering in on your rather slow pony; and actually providing any real information. And even then, the assembled masses had to wait 4 posts, and almost 4 hours before you finally decided to bring the fabled tablets down from the temple mount to set them on the path to true wisdom. And even then you couldn't manage it without being a bit of a know-it-all. I'd like to thank you on behalf of all people everywhere for this opportunity to point out to you; what is blindingly obvious to EVERYONE else. Have a great weekend.
  21. NM35 is mdf, so as long as you don't fully drown it you might be ok.
  22. Got to agree there! Honestly, I don't even notice it now; it was noticeable with shit standard rubber, but with decent tyres it's just in the background.
  23. I'll post celebratory baguette & Camembert immediately.
  24. Congrats Sevrin; welcome to Stagea ownership. You should feel approximately 50-70% more awesome as of now.
