This is the oem stuff. As expected is is stupidly expensive.

Inspected my brake pads today and they are cracked... I have ordered Ferodo DS2500s to replace the stockers.

I went to Mercury Motorsport today for a dyno run. Pretty good result I think!

I will aim to be there!

I received my COBB AccessPort with mail order Willall tune a few days ago. After a simple 20 minute installation process, I was on my way. The car feels stupidly fast on the street now! It seems to come on boost harder now and the acceleration is laugh out loud fun. As I have only driven on the street at this point, it is hard to give too much valuable insight into the cars performance after the COBB tune. I can say it feels significantly faster and seems to be terrific bang for buck value. I am booked in for a track day this coming weekend so I will report back after that. If I get the opportunity, I will run the car on a dyno at some point. Also, I think it is probably just my imagination, but the transmission seems to shift a bit smoother. I can't say this is definitely the case.

I would like the wheels and tyres from it.

Funny that Chris! Thanks for the good work. Spotted a cool Nissan Cube in that vicinity...

Very harsh and uncalled for... especially for your second post!

Pics please and congrats!

I think the Challenge Mid pipe cost me approx. US$625 plus shipping. Before I bought my car I asked Nissan whether fitting a midpipe would cause issues with my warranty. The salesman informed me that it could affect my warranty.

I think that was me. Were you in your skyline?

I think the running costs on a 360 would be in a toally different league to the GTR!

Upshift Not Allowed After Red Light Has Come On
70RTY replied to npr35's topic in VR Series - R35 GTR, Juke-R
That does not sound right. My car allows me to upshift when red light comes on. I am quite sure of it. -

Congrats Duncan! -
Is there a good reason for replacing the undertray bolts everytime it is removed?
-
Any idea as to when these new maps will be available? It sounds like it would be worth waiting for these before reflashing to protect the transmission etc.

I have the WR35TM oil in my JDM GTR and attended a track day at QR a couple of days ago. We were running 15-20min sessions with about 40mins break between each session. The highest transmission oil temp I saw was 125 deg C. This may have triggered a TM oil replacement if I was using the factory fluid.

I really like the DMG too. It's almost as good as white

Great pics. Black is certainly growing on me.

spotted a black R35 merging onto the M1 southbound at Springwood at 12.30pm today - no plates, looked very new.

that would be cool. I wonder if the fringe dwellers are welcome...

spotted a grey R35 in Fortitude Valley with NSW plates yesterday morning.

I would be most intested in a track day meet.

Everything was fine after install - no warning lights or anything which isn't surprising as the exhaust sensors are located upstream of the midpipe. I chose this midpipe because it had no reports of drone. I would recommend you listen to some midpipes to settle on the one that sounds right for you. I would be happy to meet up if you want to listen to mine.

On Friday I replaced my stock midpipe with a Challenge Stainless Steel midpipe and swapped the Nissan transmission oil for the Willall product. Challenge Midpipe: Willall Transmission Fluid: The GTR up on the lift: Old midpipe: New midpipe installed: Rear Carbon tray: As others have reported, the GTR now sounds awesome under acceleration and when blipping the throttle on down changes. The transmission seems quieter with the Willall TM oil.
