  1. awwww shut! that kud just got hut beed by the ben hemmer!
  2. Bro, I've never heard of a blocked cat being the cause of a car not starting, on any car. It'd take a heap more than just a blown turbine wheel to black a cat significantly, that's the only thing I can think of that would block the cat up, there's simply nothing flowing through the engine to cause such a blockage. That's why I asked for more info on the car. If he has a stock turbo there's a chance the turbine wheel has failed and some sorta ceramic dust has made it's way into the engine, or even the compressor wheel has sent shards into the engine, and he's lost compression in one or more cylinders. IMO that's much more of a logical cause compared to a 'blocked cat' And also, might wanna clean up your typing bro, your English is terrible. My brain hurts from trying to understand your posts dood
  3. Lol @ cat causing the car not to start, that's a pretty far out idea lol don't think that'll ever happen... Bro answer our question properly, is the engine cranking over? You said it is then you say it's like you've got a flat battery? Huh? CASs do go from time to time, old RB30s suffer from that badly, infact it's not a rarity in any RB... Try uploading a video of it trying to start, cos from what you've described, it could be almost anything. And some info on the car would be nice lol, we can't tell you anything unless you give us details of the car. What mods, auto/manual, kms, aftermarket ecu or stock etc...
  4. I'd say that's pretty spot on for what your car has... You've still got the stock dump and cat, both if which are a major power sucker, there's no use turning up the boost if you still have a restrictive exhaust. What sorta power were you expecting? It's maybe a tad low considering from the factory they make 180kw or so, I'd say with your boost you should be seeing about 150-160kw to the ground... Is it a healthy motor? Good compression? If the tuner says it's all normal then the first thing I'd be doing is getting an aftermarket dump and a high flow cat, then see what power it makes. Max safe boost you can run on a stock turbo is 12psi. That should net you almost 200kw at the wheels. Good luck fella!
  5. Nah man it's not varying or loosing power, the computer gives the pump variable voltage, but they need constant 12v to be tuned/used correctly... TriniGT solved it for me, I get it now...
  6. Yeah but this paintwork is good, not faded at all...
  7. Nah man maybe it refers to the pump need more voltage I.e. Stock pump - 12v, walbro - 14v. And yeah didn't mean those thng as literal suggestions, just that 'rewire' could mean anything, need specifics. I wanna know too, I've got the same pump and have installed it with standard wiring.
  8. Yeah, but Martin's question is, how does one re-wire the pump to provide moar power? i.e. 'rewiring' could just mean replacing the wires that feed the current to the pump, or changing the voltage source to a constant 12v, using a voltage amplifier, adding resistors etc...
  9. lol @ 11 month thread revival!
  10. Nice G-Attack R-tuned B-Spec Race-type luxury-option X-edition Jap-export R34 man Good luck with the sale. FFS.

    Father's Day

I got the old man a new golf glove and a set of gold balls and tees (our house was broken into and got all his golf shit stolen in the garage), then some licorice straps and peanuts (fav things). We're all (me, brother and mum) putting in for a new set of golf clubs for his birthday in October. Sorta sucks cos we're no further forward than 3 weeks ago due to the nasty work of those scum faggots who stole our shit (including $1000 worth of my tools and spare car parts) Then went out for dinner as a family tonight Good day, considering I hadn't slept still from the epic last night/morning I had. lol
  12. lol dude you've spent alot of money just replacing things hoping that they will fix the problem. wrong way to go about it man. Take it to a mechanic/workshop get them to diagnose it then fix it from there, instead of just replacing everything in hope lol
  13. Checked for air leak after the AFM? Might help to include some info on your car dood lol, how are we supposed to help if we don't know sh!t about the car??? What ECU are you using?
  14. Does your car have a front mount? If so, the turbo > first hot pipe, is a common one on aftermarket kits. So is throttle body and first of the cold pipes. Are you blowing any black smoke and is it idling rough?
  15. Woops, yeah just tryin to get the shape of the assembly for illustration... Who else agrees with me, it would look terrible anyway, wouldn't suit at all I don't think... Worse than VZ kits on a VN commo! Lol
  16. Just saying... That's a little optimistic to swap a 5-9k car, for a 17-20k car... Might wanna post some details (engine mods, colour, kms, the usual stuff you need when selling a car). Or god forbid, even some pictures! Lol... Phail.
  17. hmm, with skylines, less is more you'll find. What more can you do? All the aftermarket body kits look horrid and like they've come from the two dollar shop. You've got the rims, got rid of that hideous spoiler and its lowered... maybe a "400r" front bumper? this is a 400r bumper: this is your standard series 2 one for comparison: BTW, a 400R was a special edition R33 made by Nismo, its has the cool body kit and some other goodies, along with 400hp (obviously). or a carbon fibre/black or vented bonnet?
  18. Waddya mean? That last sentence doesn't make any sense... Are you saying you want matte silver instead of gloss silver?
  19. Yeah Blake, you cant fit the actual R34 tail lights to your 33, the entire rear end if different. See these: The actual assembly that bolts onto your boot is different. So cant fit. Besides, it would look like shit! None of the angles and lines would suit, R34 has an aggressive angled look when the 33 is more soft and 'moulded'.
  20. As long as you get your colour code right, the colour should match well dood! The rest of your paintwork is good so it won't stick out at all... Heaps of good panel and paint places around Perth. We (family) have used "bowra panel and pain" in Balcatta...
  21. Haha hey man! Dunno why I'm posting this as I'm talking to you on FB right now too! lol Welcome! Maybe make yourself a signature like mine below VVV <<< And an avatar too! Go into my controls and down the side click "edit my signature" and "edit avatar settings". Upload a pic if you can be fcked! Looking for inspiration hey? Dude, with the amount of money you're earning, you could crank out ~400hp with ease! Big GT30 turbo, injectors, 300zx air flow sensor, a tune up etc... dead fkn easy! Happy browsing!
  22. Nice car bro! Didn't think it was possible to register a skyline that easily in the US? I know of a single handful of them in the US... Or is it a track/competition car?
  23. Dog gears + street driving = massive PITA. I've driven a track S15 around the pits (not quite the street, but close) and it was a cvnt. Need to literally smash every gear, and its stupidly notchy at low speeds, of course on the track it amazing, but anything else, its a pain. That liberty brand sounds like a good option! if its a synchro box then it'll be fine for the street and knowing its rated at almost triple the power you will be making, you'll be able to smash every gear with confidence. Sounds like a no brainer to me!
