Hi folks, starting a few days ago I get error 500 immediately after log in... On any browser. Page is fine when not logged in... And clearly my account is fine on the app. Happens on multiple different PCs too.. Am I the only one?

Re: Driving Only takes about 20 minutes in Germany to realise they understand the concept of personal responsibility. Human beings aren't as dumb individually as "people" would have you believe. Alcohol in Check out lanes? its fine. Driving 200kmh to work on roads no better than the Monash? its fine. Letting off fireworks in the middle of the streets while drinking? its fine. There's a culture of personal responsibility there. Are Germans just naturally a bit smarter and able to handle these things that would make Australian police and news scream OH GOD THINK OF THE CHILDREN WHAT A DISASTER! or are we just America 2.0 full of nanny state PROTECT THE KIDS HOLY SHIT WHAT WOULD GOD THINK? A little bit of reason would go a long f**king way to running a country instead of people bitching about what is said on twitter or what clothes the leader of a country is wearing.

That is another problem, the problem with politics is politics. Logically people aren't the same people now that they were at 20. I don't know anyone who is. Therefore, why should they be expected to be? How did Bill Clinton's conduct with interns affect his ability to run a government? It doesn't. No-one would really argue on a factual basis that it would. Yet, the incessant bullshit surrounding politics, ruins politics. If people just let them do their damn job, and their competency was the only thing that mattered, and people laid out plans to set the country up well after they were gone... ... and people understood that we'd all be better off.

I am at work right now then. (actually at work... for the government) The problem with most governments, Australian, American, and most others is this: People don't try and govern for a better country a decade after their term is complete. That's the issue. People don't vote for the best country in 2035. People don't make policies for the best country in 2035. If people voted and made policy for the long term, we'd be living in a better country, both now (because people in 1995 would have thought about it), and in 2035.

That said, even that is a massive headache, so walk away

I actually went with digital gauges, mainly because in a scenario where you're wanting to see if something is boiling, all I want/need to do is see whether it's a 3 or 2 digit number. That said, a buzzer would also suffice for this, and is a far better idea than quickly looking down near your head unit while driving at speed.

To be fair, a NA Supra is considerably faster than a NA Skyline, though.

No, I knew I was having surgery eighteen months later. I'd have expected (maybe?) for it to cover it. I was aware there was a 12 month waiting period before you could claim at all. Which is fine by me. But even in the scenario which would give the most benefit to the client (like insuring the day before you entirely write off a car) it was wildly not worth it. Which made me wonder if it was actually ever worth it. I realise insurance business are only in business because mathematically they are never worth it for the client, but was surprised at the sheer difference and money involved. The thing is though, Emergency stuff should/is also covered by the public system. Cosmetic isn't covered anywhere by anything. So technically, what's the point? Lets assume that you see good and bad medical assistance in both public and private venues.

That's what I had figured, there was no way that it turned out cheaper to have private health insurance for this specific thing (which was dental/jaw surgery) But yeah, to pay $15000 in premiums or whatever, for them to only pay half of the procedure (which was less than 10k) seemed dumb, when I could pay it out of pocket and then claim 20% (I forget ratio) back through tax when medical expenses were over $1500 per year at the time. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Wondered why anyone would have private health insurance given the bonkers cost. But then someone mentioned $70 a month which seems quite reasonable.. well, relative to $600 a month.

I never got why Ay Ay Ron was that funny. Unless you specifically know a guy called Aaron that consistently makes mistakes. Also apparently I missed the memo on health insurance. Did research about a year before I needed an operation, about 18 months prior. When I did the math, the coverage I needed to HALF cover the procedure was $580 a month, which ended up as you'd imagine being more than the out of pocket expense for the thing just paid up straight. So I never got it. Where'd I go wrong? This was through iselect too, at the time. Also re: loans. 20k loan? lol. There's errors everywhere First of all someone who needs 20k when a bank will not provide it Secondly, a person who will actually give 20k to someone without asking the question as to why a bank won't or refused to Thirdly, lending the money after the first two points were considered, banks are pretty happy to lend money to people when they know they can't pay it. If the bank has said LOL NO then yeah. Never lend money. Just give money to people if you want to help or would rather not buy a classy vase as a gift instead.

I was of the impression that the GT series tend to, well.. die in the ass after about 22-23PSI on a RB In other words moar boost = no moar power. This was the impression I got when reading about the GT3076 when compared to GTX3076, in that the GTX series continue making power under more boost after the GT series has stopped making gains.

I was in the same situation but for a R34. Ripping it out and having it sent to MV in Adelaide is not a bad idea. I had a great experience with DTM Autos in Geelong, they really know their stuff. However, a GT-A Auto may not be the same as a R34 Auto. However they can be fairly busy. Their bread and butter is 'normal' transmissions, so getting something highly specialized in there can take some time before they can dedicate the cranial space to thinking and getting it going. I am sure you've heard it but manual conversssiiiiooooooon.... is what I wish I did, if my Auto ever dies

Technically speaking though, advancing timing only increases power to a point, after a point it starts reducing power. If you're not pinging at that point, on 98 well, you don't need E85. It's possible in some lovely systems to not be pinging at MBT. Same thing re: Boost pressure. But in the real world, where we do stuff like add turbos to systems designed for lesser turbos, well, E85 starts becoming cool. Would be curious to see what happens on a stock system, but you aren't gonna run more than 10psi on it anyway. I would wager youd gain more powars per dollar by upgrading to a hiflow on 98, vs converting to E85 on a stock turbo.

Running E85 on stock turbo is really not a cost effective/convienient solution Technically speaking, all E85 does is removes limitations of less than optimal systems, its not like you're gonna slam 30PSI into a stock turbo with a ton of timing for other explodey reasons... If you could hit MBT and Peak compressor efficiency from your turbo on 98 without it pinging to death, switching to E85 wouldn't give you more power, I've been told that's why some people see big gains from E85 and some people don't

Then I suggest you get a wideband and flex fuel Wideband because playing with correction maps is likely going to be needed if you want it perfect. Its quite time intensive and expecting it to be PERFECT from a few hours on a dyno will never be feasible. There's a lot of "hm, I'm idling at 13.7 AFR when I'd like it to be 14.7 when I am on 72% 98 and 28% E85" goings on

To be honest, I never really used flex fuel. Seems good, in the real world once you're on E85 you don't need 98, as the availability is fine unless you're driving to Mildura etc. That said, flex isn't very hard. All the ECU needs to know is ethanol % which it turns from 0V to 5V. Then the ECU takes that input which may be like 2.5V, and applies a certain percentage of a correction map to fuel/timing/boost, relative to the voltage of that input. That's all there is to it

Cause now the cheapest part of it is the Petrol, not the Ethanol? Edit, clearly wrong, cause that'd make E10 more expensive than 91 in that case.

Clio RS200 has the option to this, I found this out the day AFTER I rented it for the Nurburgring Could sound like R35, or spaceship, or a number of other things. Couldn't really tell it had a 'noise pipe' when I was driving the car in its native sound though. So I guess I was fooled

The thing for people searching, is the bigger setup is only marginally more expensive. Absolutely, absolutely worth the tiny extra even if you NEVER use it lol
