  1. Do any of you love birds have any experience with machining costs ? I know you do. I am rebuilding my 26 and am looking for a very rough estimate on the costs of crank preparation (if indeed mine is still in good condition). The reason I ask is that if the costs to prep and ready the crank for reuse are substantial I will just buy a 2.8/9 stroker kit as it's the crank that adds cost to these kits.   2. Choice is upto you, All I am saying is there is alot of negative press on the PAR gearsets, and I mean ALOT. That's what you would have found if you searched through the PAR threads like the guys above suggested. Since you haven't listed a budget and adding to this that your goal is to run 9's all day (an expensive undertaking) PPG is an option, OS Giken etc etc the list goes on.   10. Yes and no, there are alot of vintage/muscle cars that have been restored, still commanding huge dollars.
  11. You can also buy actual nissan replacement clips through RHD and those sort of places. Im going to order a big batch when my car goes back together.
  12. You guys could also look at getting the Reimax gears for the OEM/N1 style pump. 400 odd dollars on Ebay, maybe not quite as good as tomei but will save you some $$$$

  14. Yeah, but that's the point, you HAVE to bolt it into something that is sub 1000kg to make it go hard. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate my normally aspirated rotangs. Just sayin'
  15. Where did you get the OS gear from Paul ? I may just get a second hand box and drop it in until such time as I break it. Then rebuild with the OS gear. Going to get my OS twin rebuilt at NPC.
  16. Hate to burst this bubble of worship guys, but NA rotories, still slow. Even the panspeed car only had like 500HP Worked 20B. Dill with it.
  17. So what's the option for the guys in the 500+ HP bracket who don't want to spend stupid amount of money on a gearbox ? I'm in the same boat, Gearbox needs a rebuild,
