  1. Okay guys. I'm having a prototype made up of both the R34 and R33 ducts. Should be ready early next week.
  2. The VG30DETT turbos are MUCH smaller than a normal RB25DET. They are designed to run off 1.5 litres, much like the RB25DETT turbos. Small.
  3. the only reason they seem faster and louder is because the Coppers get up the ALL THE TIME, and when a cop car is trying to chase you, they feel lots quicker than a normal car racing you, because you know that when they catch you, you're fu(ked
  4. Can anybody else NOT see any pictures?
  5. Regarding the chips. The only modifications to the chips is that they idle at a slightly higher rpm to make sure that they dont drain the batttery when sitting there with everything running. they have never had any power mods, and I doubt they ever will. They mostly drive SS commodores because of the higher resale value at the end of the lease term and becuase they already come with the fe2 suspension. None have ever had any engine mods done. Can you imagine the shear cost of modifying every single cop car that hits the road. The economics would be all up the sh1t. Anybody who says that they have a Cop chip in their commo know not of what he says. BASS OUT
  6. So here's what I can figure out. Stay with me. RB25DET turbo OP6 on exh housing 45V3 or 45V1 (series 1 and series 2 or R34 GTT turbos) RB20DET turbo OP6 on exh housing 16V on comp cover VG30DET turbo OP6 OR V45 on exh housing 16V on com cover. So, there ya go.
  7. Here are the pics. You can see that the exhaust wheel is chipped. Nobody can figure out why it's chipped and not completely knackered. Anyway, it still spins fine and the is no shaft play.
  8. Hi ppls. Well, this is going ahead now for R33 and R34. The sibling of the original person will be making them up, same level of quality. Please see the R33 thread for R33 ducts and R34 for R34 ducts. R33 Duct Thread R34 Duct Thread R32 will be later R31, I'm sorry, due to lack of demand, I cannot do these. Cheers BASS OUT
  9. Mad34. I will have pics very soon. I will put you down as interested in the other thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=82729

  11. Hey ppls. Well, I'm about to start manufacture of the R34 AFM to TURBO reinforcement ducts. Construction? Mandrel bent pieces of Stainless steel, in a raw finsih, TIG welded. No polishing will be done, but if you want to do it when you recieve your pipe, the steel is ready for it. There will be sufficient pipe at either end to give a good seal to to the air. There will also be 2 x 1 inch beads of weld on the rim of each end of the pipe to give a non slip join. You will need to purchase your one clamps depending on what style you want. Currently the R34 jig have been fabicated and production will begin when all payments are in. The price will be $110 each EXCLUDING postage. I will work out postage with one person in each state and ship the ducts as a big bunch, and you can pick them up from that person. This means it's much easier for everyone and cheaper too. Obviously if you are out the back of Burke and you need a single shipment, or would just prefer a single shipment, this can also be worked out. NOTE The standard duct will not be able to be returned to standard after fitting the new section of pipe, but the duct will be such that it will be virtually invisible to the untrained eye. People in so far, tell your mates who have R34s now, as I will only do this group buy once, no matter how much people want them! R34s ME of course Adzmax Daz Muz Abo Bob GTTR34 Neo_R34 CNBLOW HKS34R ascension madR34 Total R34 = 11 I will require all payments before I start the project because I'll be damned if I'm going to be stuck with any if people pull out after the material is bought and so on. Check my trader rating, I'm not going to rip you off, I'm a committee member of Vic SAU, so they trust me, and so on and so on. Before you ask, the price is the price. No question. Please deposit the funds as such Account Name Peter N Blythe Back of Melbourne/Westpac BSB: 733 382 ACC: 586817 Amount $110 Please put your user name into the description of the deposit. If you deposit the money at a bank, please ensure they also do this. If you do not want the ducts and your name is in the list, please let me know so I'm not waiting on your payment. I would like to apologise for the delay in getting this to the final stage, but I came up against a few obstacles on the way. Thanks BASS OUT
  12. Good news. The ducts will be started shortly! Even the R34 ones! So heres the deal. Payments now due. Please see the first post for details. I will be having one made up and tested but payments need to start coming in as it will most likely take a while to get them all in. Cheers BASS OUT

  14. I can reply now!
  15. Hey ppls. Well, I'm getting older. My birthday is the 13th of August and we are going to: Altitude. Russel St, Melbourne 20th August 9sih onwards and onwards and onwards. Come along and party it up. BASS OUT
  16. Hey ppls. I bought this turbo about three months ago in the expectation that I would high flow it at GCG. I since discovered the wonderful VG30DET hybrid turbo mod, and i have aquired a hybrid ready to high flowing, hence, i don't need the R34 GTT turbo now. The exhaust wheel has several small chips, but the bearing pack is good. Really only suited to a High Flow. Comes as shown in pics (which will be posted in about 1 hour. Price is what I paid for it which is $250. FIRM Don't ask to bargain. Price is $250. I can send anywhere via TNT (small additional charge) or you can pick up in Melbourne. BASS OUT
  17. You can see the width of the gap is slighly bigger than the width of the flange. On the VG30, it is definently smaller than the width of the flange.
  18. Check these two pics together
  19. OKay, first impression. It's Ball Bearing (the 10mm bolt in the bearing pack NOT VG30DET exhaust housing. Too much distance between the snail and the inside of the flange
  20. More comparisons
  21. Check out these two pics. One says 45v and A on the exhaust housing and The other says OP6 and what looks like an E or and F Both are apparently from a VG30DET. ARGH
  22. Yep, I got a lot of pics a couple of minutes ago. You can see it in pictures in the distance between the snail and the inside of the manifold flange.
