  1. Hey guys. Tell your friends and people on the forums about this group buy, or it may never go ahead.
  2. Hey ppls. Again, this is taking far too long, but unfortunatly that's just the way it goes. I wouldn't think the noise would be any different to a stock one.
  3. Hey ppls. PIC 1 Standard Front Bar Series I PIC 2 Standard Front Bar Series II PIC 3 Nismo Front Bar Series I Looks like the Nismo and the Series II standard would be the same, as there is the mesh on both. I've never seen a Series II in Australia..... yet. BASS OUT
  4. I refuse to quit the search for this VG30DET housing. Damn you Bullant47. You have reduced my life to that of a computer geek searching the web for some bloody obscure component that nobody has. ARGH!
  5. cool, I thought I remember somewhere that ceramic bearings could be used. thanks.
  6. Ah, that makes a bit of sence. Maybe I'll try listening to the one I have soon! Cubes. How's that VG30DET going?
  7. I'm about to get my turbo high flowed, and I have been told that it can be a good idea to open up the waste gate hole a bit for better boost control up high. So my question is....... How much by? Do I simply bore out the existing hole to a larger size and make up a new wastegate cap to suit? Do I bore it out in the same plane at the same angle or do I change the angle to sim more towards the gases comign from the manifold? Cheers Pete
  8. hey ppls. I'm looking at a new turbo (high flow) soon, and I have seen a fair few turbos lying around in various forms over my time. When you spin the wheels by hand, some spin heaps some not at all. Plain bearing turbos dont spin at all after your finger comes off. Ball Bearing turbos spin a few revolutions, but some keep spinning for a long time after the car stops. This HAS to be a good sign that the turbo is free to spin as much as it likes. So, is there a special bearing or something that makes this happen? Is it a Ceramic bearing that does it? Do the GCG high flows do it? All Help Appreciated. BASS OUT
  9. Yeah Yeah. Tabs will be delivered Monday. Waiting on word about the other bits.
  10. Shit, Better get onto those. Sorry guys. Yep I'm keen on doing an advanced course as well. I'll get all the details from Kevin.
  11. But I'M perfect..... How do you explain that?
  12. What I'm thinking is: Get the turbo high flowed, and whilst putting it on, match everything up with a die grinder being careful not to get any swarf inside the housing.
  13. In from the edge of the manifold or in from the edge of the housing?
  14. Wogboy. Must be an R34.... Your details say R33?
  15. So for the turbo in having High Flowed, I should grind a nice smooth radius into the flange?......?
  16. Would the Gasket be the right size?
  17. Fast and the Furious would have used computers to mould the recordings to get the right sounds. Don't try to emulate it. You probably wont be able to.
  18. This isn't MacDonalds you know.
