  1. Alrighty, thanks mate. Looks like I will need the VL Turbo / Rb20 redtop injector. Thanks for the help all.
  2. Thanks for the help guys. Glad to hear that RB20 redtop are the same as VLT, i'll keep an eye out for those too. With a VLT ecu, could I run other injector that flows similarly? Or would any different injector require a new ecu? Thanks.
  3. I'm not sure at all, would anyone be able to confirm about the RB30 injectors? Thanks very much for those tables mate! Very helpful, once I confirm what sort of injector the RB30's have stock I will use this for reference.
  4. Hello all, I need a bit of help with the stock flow rating of injectors and whether they are top / side feed / low or high impedance. I am trying to suss out what will fit in my RB30 fuel rail (I am doing a turbo conversion, RB30 R31 skyline). I have searched online and on the R31 forum but it seems lots of people are running an assortment of injectors without the info behind how. Can someone please check this list? And help me fill in the blanks: RB30E: 185cc side feed low impedance RB30ET: 259cc side feed low impedance RB20DET: 270cc top feed high impedance RB25DET: 370cc side feed high impedance RB26DETT: 444cc top feed low impedance Does this all look correct? Is there any way to allow my skyline to accept high impedance injectors? I will be running a VL turbo ecu, and if I can find no other options I will run VL turbo injectors also, but it seems a lot of the other RB series injectors are cheaper and flow better. Thanks.
  5. What a great thread I run a small online based business selling Car Audio gear (High Fidelity Audio), website will be hosted in about 3 weeks, so i've barely begun. I can sort out home audio and DIY gear too, as well as little bits and pieces like voltmeters etc. I will be sure to post back when my website is up. Thanks all!
  6. I realise this is not the right spot to sell them, but bump none the less, maybe someone knows someone with an MX-5 haha Price drop $290! Genuine Rays!
  7. Sorry for the thread dig here. I've used a bunch of tyres, ContiSports, Falken 452, Potenza R050, RE05A, and also cheap stuff like Nexen N3000, Achilles ATR Sport, 'BlueStreak' .. All sorts of stuff I am about to buy a pair of the Achilles tyres (245/35R19) for my daily (VY Berlina) and I have no problem in doing so, but then again, this is my daily. I'm paying $170 / tyre fitted and balanced, for me its the best tyre in the price range, in Sydney or Canberra. Maybe most people here steer clear of the cheaper tyres because they have big power and a harder suspension setup, a more performance oriented setup. But for people with a general daily driver, or wanting a cheap tyre that wears well and has acceptable wet grip, I don't see anything wrong with Achilles, although I have found you do sacrifice some 'noise' .. they tyre is a bit noise due to the tread pattern combined with the rubber used. Still reasonable grip for good money.
  8. I just bought a brand new Ninja 250r for $5890 with a years rego! Fabulous bike, anyone would be lucky to have one. Free bump for a good bike!
  9. Bump, will do very cheap with stock parts on the car.
  10. Boot paint has been fixed / badges properly removed since picture.
  11. For sale is my Series III R31 Skyline. The work I have put intothe car includes: Suspension: - All new uni joints, centre bearing, wheel bearings frontand rear - Tokico Rear Shocks / Springs (3.5kg/mm rate) - Munroe Gas Front Struts / Lovells HD Springs (3.7kg/mmrate) - Full Nolathane Polyurethane Bush Kit (Every single suspensionbush replaced) Interior: - 2 Month old Monza Import 'Autotechnicia' Bucket seats,Bride Rails - 2 Month old 'Drift' Perforated Leather Steering Wheel& 100mm offset Boss Kit - A total of 70kg of weight has been strippedfrom the car, weighs near 1250kg now Engine: - 3/2/1 Extractors, 1& 7/8" primaries into 2.5" Collector - 200 Cell HurricaneHigh-Flow Cat Converter - 2.5" MandrelBend Cat-Back Exhaust, Mild Steel, Hurricane centre muffler, Hurricaneresonator, both highflow - 3" Polished ExhaustTip - New o2 Sensor - Advanced Timing - Ported &Polished Throttle-Body - Mild Exhaust Port& Polish (Port matched to extractors) - A/C Removed (Comeswith car if wanted) Wheels / Tyres / Exterior: - Silhouette BootlipSpoiler - JDM Mesh Wheels 70%Tread on tyres .. 16x7 +16 Front, Falken 451 205/55R16, 16x8 +18 Rear,225/50R16 Sumitomo - JustJap Bolt onSpacers, Hubcentric, Billet Aluminium, longer studs, 20mm Front / Rear - ROH Wheel nuts,Alloy hex head design The car has been a fun project and I will be sorry to see itgo. The oil has been changed monthly, the car only gets driven on weekends atthe cotter etc, would make a fantastic daily or weekend car. Would run verywell at Wakefield. The driveline is built very strong and is near new, with amini-spool it would last a long time sliding or track work. The last thing I wasgoing to do is fit a mini-spool, this can be included in the purchase if wantedby the buyer, by negotiation. I can make it cheaper by taking some parts offthe car if wanted, and there are also a lot of spares available. For a rego check it would probably need the oldmuffler put back on to quieten it down, this is included in the sale. I'm sellingthe car because I'm moving, and will no longer have a place to keep a secondcar. More than happy to take perspective buyer for a drive toshow how the car handles etc. Please call Anthony on 0401 785 535 / [email protected] for more details or to see the car. $3490 ono
  12. Still keen to sell if anyone is keen for any cars..
  13. I hear you can fit 24's? Only full chrome will fit in 24" though..
  14. I don't have any spacers for them mate, hence the price. Offset is without spacers. Asking $350 for them mate.
  15. Are many of these parts interchangeable with the R31? Namely, diff? Also suspension. Cheers mate.
  16. Anyone want to buy my R31..? Its N/A as well and its about to have coil overs, so it must be the ultimate sleeper too..?.. I'm asking just $24 000 ..? lawl
  17. Just to confirm this is all within the ACT? If so: Magistrates court in the ACT can handle cases concerning damages to the amount of $50 00, $50 001 and its over to the Supreme court (Please double check this, has been changed recently). I would have a quote drawn up be a reputable panel beater, then hire a solicitor/legal aid to send them the quote asking for the damages to be paid, if they do not get back to you soon enough, or if they refuse to pay damages, anything like that, then have a court date set and have the solicitor or legal aid subpoena them to court on the given date. Not at all fair, they have a duty of care for your vehicle as soon as they tow it; it is then considered their possession and from a Civil point of view it is negligent on their behalf to not return the car in the same condition it was taken. If it does go to court, depending on how the solicitor works, it may cost you $45, $119 or $420 if you somehow lose the case, depending on the amount of money for damages you are seeking ($420 is $10 000 over, $119 is under $10 000 and $45 is $2000 and under) Any who, a little off topic there. Screw them as far as you can mate. EDIT: I am saying hire legal help as you would be able to regain all costs for the case, and it often seems more official having some legal jargon thrown in there, from a layman's point of view. In the long run it may be worth it, may see the case settled more quickly.
  18. I might be keen mate, what other things are you looking to trade for? Cheers.
