  1. Three. I live on the coast (mapleton)! I just mentioned Brisbane as I've been doing a ton of driving in Brisso lately. Never seen you, but I've seen the burgundy arx. They didn't wave back to me I saw them out in Kawana. I'm up in the hinterland but do cross over into kawana a few times a week (work) and to the beach (maroochydore) once a fortnight or so.
  2. Then who do you expect to enforce the law? When there is a party with a few hundred/thousand people outside your house smashing shit up are you going to sort it out yourself or will you be thankful when the riot squad turns up with their fully stocked 4x4s?
  3. I'm impatient though I guess to be fair, I've only ever spotted one so it makes sense that no one has spotted me.
  4. fuel economy is fine in the stagea. My last tank is still in, 560km done so far - got another 8-100 or so in it. Mostly on highways though. I only ever need to put in about 65-70L as well.
  5. I'd let most people drive my car with me in the passenger seat once. It's a rarity I let them a second time. If they are given a second chance then sure, they can take it whenever they want as I obviously trust their driving. Some of my friends I wouldn't let sit in my car let alone drive it.
  6. When 99.97% of society consists of wankers & losers then it's only natural that most skyline drivers are wankers/losers, right?
  7. Agree. I support lowering the blood alcohol limit to 0. Or maybe 0.02 I am already drunk at 0.05
  8. Awesome. That was a pretty useless question though. As if I'd post asking for help and be ignored. Stagea forum is uber helpful. But yes, I am interested. Very. By interested I mean I want one
  9. I'm interested. I assume if I have trouble installing it (I'm a bit retarded) that I could post here with photos and you guys would give me some assistance?
  10. God dammit. Are you Brisbane drivers blind? I'll be spotted eventually -.-
  11. I can get one, but I'm at work so can't just yet. But, it's one of these I think: http://www.autowatch.com.au/?matrixalarms&global[categoryISbb_content_categoriesID]=32 I assume that's to satisfy aussies requirement for an immobiliser? Personally, I want to get rid of using keys completely and just have my car start via a proximity sensor but that's a project for another day.
  12. Black, 4 door, blowing HEAPS of smoke. Kunda Park. Dude, fix your car.
  13. Aha, after a quick google search (after a read of the dongle thing) it's some autowatch thingo. Will shoot them an email.
  14. That reminds me. To start my car I have to have these little black things on my keys. Does anyone know what they are and who can program them? I sort of lost one and don't like not having a spare...
  15. If you were going to flog it cheap then post here, might be good for a simple CarPC?
  16. nvm. Can't read.
  17. If anyone wrecks an M35 in the future I am interested in leather front seats. Not the rears.
  18. I tend to miss the point alot Yeah, i get great fuel consumption on highways. I pretty much average 550km a tank now and I have developed a bit of a lead foot. I would get more if I didn't live on a mountain range.
  19. Who cruises @ 100kph? I sit on 110kph, or sometimes accidentally drift up to 118-120. Our speed limit is 110 though.
  20. Spotted that Red M35 stagea last night in premier crt (kawana). They didn't wave back to me (I was in my stag).
  21. Terry, I don't think her mum will say yes (well, I know she won't since she already told me ). Gimps, I'm unsure, but if someone can go guarantor then that's an option - I'd be willing to do it for her and I've got enough to easily cover the loan so the bank should approve it if I did that but like you said, not sure if you can do that for loans. Not sure if she'd want me to though. YoYo, she is looking at 2003ish so it just comes in under the 7 year mark. --- I'll link her to this thread when she is online next and let her make up her own mind.
  22. Personally, I think the best solution would be to go into the individual banks and ask what their requirements are. Find the one with the lowest requirements, meet said requirements, apply for loan. But someone out there might have some extra info but for some reason I doubt there is an industry secret.
  23. Yeah, I surprised someone in a falcon the other day on the way home from work. Tool was going 70kph in an 80kph zone and it changes to double lanes around all the roundabouts. Absoloutely smashed him going through the bend. He gave me the thumbs up though so he wasn't to bad.
  24. Isn't it standard practice to ask for pay slips which displays your yearly earnings to date?
  25. Got a friend who is looking to get a small car loan shortly. She's after 7k and she'll have a 2k deposit so a total of 9k. Problem is she is a casual and hasn't been working for that long. I was approve by St George when I was casual at dominos and had only been working for 3 months but the site says a minimum of 1 year now. Does anyone know of which bank or w/e is most likely approve her?
